The Proposal

Taehyung pulls his car in front of his mansion and sees Irene standing in front of the door with something in her hands

"Stay here," he says to Jisoo and walks out of the car

Jisoo motions her hand in a "shoo" gesture and looks out the window and sees Irene too. She becomes in awe at how pretty the girl looks but something is bothering her

"Is she his girlfriend? Can't be, right? The newspaper said that he is as single as ever. I am so confused. What do I do?" she thinks to herself

Irene sees Taehyung walking toward her and she is so nervous that she didn't even see Jisoo in the car. She immediately hides the things in her hand behind her back

"Is everything okay?" Taehyung asks

Irene takes a deep breath in. "Where were you? I've been waiting here for a long time" she says and gives a nervous smile

Jisoo rolls her window down to hear them more clearly but Taehyung parked the car at a distance so even she can't hear them

"Irene?" Taehyung says again

Irene finally brings her hand forward and she is holding a bunch of flowers and a letter

"I can't keep it to myself anymore Taehyung. This is a letter that I wrote to you years ago but never had the courage to give to you. I love you Taehyung and I've been loving you secretly for a while now. I can't stop thinking about you and it is getting harder each day for me" Irene says as a drop of tear falls from her eyes. She stretches her hand forward for Taehyung to accept the flowers

Taehyung is shocked at how vulnerable Irene is. This is the last thing he expected to happen. 

Jisoo becomes restless. 

"Is that a proposal? She is definitely giving him flowers and crying? Crying?!?!? What do I do? I can't let this happen. It'll ruin everything" she thinks and hurriedly rushes out of the car and walks towards them

"Hey, where did you go leaving me alone?" she says as she walks toward them

Taehyung recognizes the voice and looks at her in sheer anger and hatred. 

"I told her to stay in the car," he says to himself 

 Irene wipes her tears and looks at Jisoo too as Jisoo stands beside Taehyung

"I am sorry but I don't think that I've ever seen you. Who are you?" Irene asks impatiently

"I haven't seen you either hun" Jisoo says to Irene

Irene looks at Taehyung in a confused and slightly hurt manner. He came here with a girl, not alone.

"So when are we leaving. I am so sleepy. We should leave now" Jisoo says to Taehyung

"I am in the middle of-" Taehyung gets interrupted 

"I still haven't told me who you are," Irene asks again 

"If you want to stay here any longer then I'd have to tell her who I am," Jisoo says to Taehyung and then comes close to him and whispers "And you won't want that, will you?" 

Taehyung clenches his fist, Irene can't know about Jungkook and this girl. No one can know except for him

"We have to leave," Taehyung says in a low voice. He knows that this will hurt Irene but he doesn't trust Jisoo. He now only wishes that he was here alone. Irene is visibly hurt and he can't do anything about it. This is the first time she has been so open and he let her down but he has no other options

"Let's go" Jisoo stays and starts walking towards the car

Taehyung looks at Irene one last time and her eyes are filled with tears, she is looking at him with a betrayal gaze. If only he could tell her the truth--
