Jisoo wakes up the next day to a severe headache, she could hardly sleep last night. To her surprise, she finds a new phone box on the dining table. She looks around but no one is there
Taehyung kept his promise, he made sure that Jisoo has a new phone by the time she wakes up. The fact that Jisoo can now call Rose makes her feel a little better.
She opens it up and dials her number but Rose doesn't pick up. She calls her again and still no response. She must be asleep. She mailed someone on the car the other day when she threw her phone away but never had the chance to check if they replied or not. They must've replied by now
She logs into the fake e-mail ID she made and voila, there is a reply. Jisoo reads it out thoroughly making sure that she understands everything perfectly.
She knows that whatever she is going to do from here onwards is risky. On top of that, someone knows about her identity, she needs to be extra careful. She needs to implement her plan as fast as possible and leave for good
As she is thinking about the e-mail, she receives a call, from an unknown number
"Hello?" she says in a shaky voice
"Are you awake? I just wanted to make sure that you got the phone" Taehyung says from the other end
"Did you have a good night with your girlfriend?" Jisoo says ignoring what he just said. She is still bitter and hurt that he didn't bother to stay just one night for the sake of her sanity, she was scared last night and he left her alone
"Huh?" Taehyung replies being confused about why she is asking about Irene the first thing in the morning
"Nah, just making sure that leaving me here alone on my own was worth it for you" she says
"Don--" Taehyung is about to reply but Jisoo hears a familiar voice, Irene's voice. This makes Jisoo extremely angry. How is it that Irene always wins?
"I want you in my front door in 15 minutes, we're going shopping. Then you'll take me to your office. I want to meet everyone there" Jisoo demands
"Bold of you to assume that I'll dance in your tunes" Taehyung replies
"Oh, it's fine if you don't come. I'll make other plans then" Jisoo says and cuts the call
Taehyung wasn't prepared for that answer.
"What other plans?" he says to himself and calls her again but she doesn't pick up. This makes him even more crazy, First she hangs the phone up on him and now isn't picking up
"This girl will be the death of me" he thinks
Jisoo eats her breakfast and gets ready. She feels different today, as if someone has drained all her energy. She knows that Taehyung will come, her last sentence will force him to come.
Irene's voice echoes at the back of her head, she feels...angry..upset... A bit Jealous?
She shakes everything off and starts doing her makeup, to her surprise she feels a bit excited about spending the day with someone instead of being alone and overthinking about how things will turn out
She takes a long time to pick what she'll wear. She wears her outfit and looks at herself in the mirror "Perfect" she says to herself and heads downstairs.
