Once Upon A Time In Paris

In another life too

Jisoo can feel Taehyung's warmth against her as they switch sides. She is not on top of him, her head on his broad chest, him ever so slightly stroking her hair. She has never let a guy come THIS close to her, revealing all of her to them but somehow, she doesn't feel guilty, as if it was meant to be. She closes her eyes trying to hear his beating heart but suddenly a scene flashes before her darkened vision.

Taehyung leaving her alone, stranded after figuring it out. She was given only 24 hours and by morning, her time will be up. She opens her eyes immediately shivering at the thought of the aftermath of her actions. She looks at Taehyung who has his eyes closed, a faint smile across his lips.

"So, you're going to keep staring at me all night?" he says breaking the silence and opens his eyes

Jisoo is caught off guarded at his remarks, he isn't sleeping, he is also trying to savour every bit of this moment by closing his eyes, except his mind isn't playing games like Jisoo's. Maybe he is imagining a future with her, maybe he is seeing them get married and have a family someday. The smile in his face was a dead giveaway that it must have been something pleasant

Jisoo gives him a kiss on his chest and finally asks him the question she was dreading all this time

"You will never leave me, right? If I ever make a mistake, you'll forgive me right?" she asks being afraid that morning will creep soon enough and not knowing what lies ahead is sending her down spiralling just at the thought of it

Taehyung makes eye contact with her "You'll never make a mistake, I know you" he says

"But what if I do? or what if I did?" she says

Taehyung all of a sudden gets on top pinning her down again, their naked bodies rubbing against each other beneath the sheet

"Then I guess I'll have to punish you to" he says and starts kissing her neck

Jisoo closes her eyes and feels his warmth against her neck, she starts breathing faster.

Taehyung is the first to get up the next morning, he kisses Jisoo's forehead when his phone beeps. He checks it and a wide smile spans across his face.

Jisoo also opens her eyes and sees Taehyung gleaming at his phone

"Good morning" she says

"We are expecting a guest today. They'll probably be here soon" Taehyung says and kisses Jisoo again

"Who is this? I didn't know that you've invited someone today" she says being confused

"Just a surprise. A very special one indeed" he says and gets up but Jisoo holds his hand

"Please just a few more minutes" she begs

Taehyung can't resist her and gets back under the sheets holding her tightly.

"You have no idea how much you make me happy. You've given me the best night of my life yesterday" he says

Jisoo doesn't reply, she feels like a bird in a cage. What is to happen today? She couldn't find out anything and wasted away her precious time by being with Taehyung. She doesn't feel any guilt, rather helpless. How could the mysterious person expect her to find years of truth, years of history in justs 24 hours? It's like they set her up for failure.

"you're going to marry me right" she says with an uncertain look

"Jisoo" Taehyung gets up making Jisoo sring from the pillows too. He sits on his knees in front of the bedframe while Jisoo looks at him, not knowing what he is about to say

He takes her hands "I am sorry, for all I said to you, for all the names I called you. I can't imagine what it must've been for you, growing up alone without a family. And I know you tried to pretend to be here only for the money but I also know that deep down you just wanted to be loved, you wanted a partner. But you could've easily left me on my own when everything was falling apart, afterall that didn't benefit you in anyway. But you chose to be with me, and that speaks volumes about your intentions. So KIM JISOO, I have not intention of leaving you any time soon.

And if I get lucky enough, I would choose to love you again, in another life, in another time, every time. I'll choose you again if I were reborn. You're my home" he says and kisses her hand

Jisoo starts tearing at his speech, she carasses the nape of his neck as he leans to kiss her hand

This man who has given her nothing but a shelter, a life worth living is getting betrayed by her. He calls her home but she is the hell that he fails to see. He wants her again in another life but if he were to find her truth, he might as well take her life and not think twice. He hates traitor, he hates liars.

Jisoo gets ready waiting for the mysterious guest arriving soon while Taehyung is downstairs, replying to a few emails.

Jisoo gets a text in her phone

I expect a warm welcome from you- it reads

Jisoo's heart beats faster each passing second. This is the person that has been sending her all the letters, they are coming, to meet Taehyung. She needs to act fast, she needs to tell him the truth before they can but does she have the guts to actually tell him all the truth?

Should she run to him now and reveal it all or should she wait, patiently?
