Jisoo becomes extremely paranoid, someone has been following her the entire time? How else could they know her past? She left no traces
She immediately comes down and heads to where everyone is. To her surprise, everyone seems calm, talking to each other.
She frantically looks around trying to find even the slightest sign of suspicion.
Taehyung notices her, she looks uncomfortable, somewhat scared. He walks towards her, "Is everything okay?" he asks
Jisoo jump-scares at the sound of his voice "Is it him? Did he find everything out? Why else would he ask her this?" she thinks to herself. Her mind is running wild, she can trust no one
Taehyung can see the fear in her eyes though she isn't saying anything. The girl who always has an answer ready at the tip of her tongue is speechless right now
He places his hand on her waist as a sign of reassurance, "Did anything happen?" he asks again
Jungkook sees him touching Jisoo and coming close to her and it makes him furious. But he is helpless, he wants to claim Jisoo in front of everyone as his own but he can't. He knows that Jisoo doesn't love Taehyung like she is saying, there must be some reason as to why she got engaged. Otherwise, she would've never made out with him that day in the elevator
"Jisoo?" Taehyung asks again
"Can....can we go home" Jisoo says
"Are you alright?" he replies
"No, I just want to go home, please" she says, this time almost begging him with the tone in her voice
"Okay, we're leaving" he says without asking any other questions. He tells everyone that they have some other plans and need to leave urgently. They all say their greetings and bids them goodbye
Taehyung side eyes Jisoo while driving his car. She keeps shaking her leg out of anxiety.
"I need to buy a phone.. My last one doesn't work anymore" she breaks the silence knowing that the person she needs the most right now is Rose
"I'll buy one for you tomorrow" Taehyung replies
"No, I need one right now" Jisoo replies
Taehyung immediately stops the car and looks at her
"Is this about Jungkook again?" he asks but Jisoo doesn't answer. She keeps looking out the window, her paranoia is killing her.
She is scared, of failing. She made this revenge her entire purpose of life. She wants justice for her mother but the letter can not only ruin her revenge but potentially her life. She is playing with fire, with the most influencial family in town and they can destroy her in seconds if they know her truth
Taehyung takes Jisoo's silence as a YES
He grabs his steering well in anger and walks out of the car in the middle to the road. It is way too late and there are barely any cars in the road. He slams the front hood being incandescent and Jisoo comes out being even more afraid
"I fucking got engaged to you and you are still hung up over that guy?" he screams
"What?! I don't--" Jisoo tries to explain herself. She already has a lot going on in her mind and now Taehyung is behaving rudely to her
"What did Jungkook do to you that you can't think straight anymore? Why do you need a phone for? To text him? To call him? To keep in touch with him? Oh, plan a few dates maybe? All behind my back while spending my money to do everything" he speaks in the same loud tone
