Once Upon A Time In Paris

Out of control

"Babe, is there something bothering you?" Irene asks

Taehyung immediately puts his phone away. Irene can't see the pictures, it'll complicate things even more

"Yeah, there is an emergency. I have to handle it" he replies

"Right now? We didn't even have dinner yet. I made so many things for you" she says being sulky

"I am really sorry but I have to go" Taehyung says, picks his suit up and leaves without waiting for Irene to respond

Jisoo is pacing back and forth in her room, she has openly challenged Sehun. It'll only be a matter of time till everything comes crashing down.

Someone rings the door bell again. She feels scared, it must be Sehun again. She rushes to the door and opens it

"Sehun, i told yo--"

It's not Sehun, it's Taehyung instead.

"Uh.. Hi" she says

"You seem disappointed that it's me. Were you waiting for someone? Someone called Sehun maybe?" he says and walks inside

It is actually just the opposite, Jisoo is glad that it is Taehyung. Now even if Sehun comes again, he can't do anything. She feels this strange sense of safety with Taehyung around, the one were she feels that no one can hurt her.

"I am not, I just didn't expect to see you. Have you had your dinner yet?" she says trying to change the topic

"I am going to ask you once and for all, what was Sehun doing here?" Taehyung asks with anger boiling through his voice

"Sehun?" Jisoo's voice shakes

"Oh don't  pretend to not know" he replies

"He--he was here--looking for you" she lies

"So, he came here looking for me and you ended up in his arms? Let me guess, you just tripped and conincidentally hugged him, right? I fucking told you I hate liars. How many times do I have to remind you? I fucking hate it" he says and approaches her

Jisoo can't feel her body, everything seems numb. The tone at which Taehyung is talking is making her nervous

"I am sorr--" she struggles to speak

"He is more than a friend, isn't he? You two tried to make a fucking fool out of me. He is your lover, not a stupid friend. I asked you again and again and even fucking warned you and you still lied" Taehyung says

"He is only a friend, i don-" Jisoo tries to lie again but Taehyung grabs her wrist

"Oh yeah, what are these?" he says and shows the pictures to her

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE THESE?" Taehyung says

Jisoo flinches at this, she is caught in her own lies.

"And to add cherry on top of the cake, you met with your love behind my back" he says

He doesn't even look at her anymore. Instead he sits on the couch withhis hands covering his face, he feels dejected, defeated. It is already hard for him to navigate all the feelings that he has been lately feeling for Jisoo only for him to get dead mad at her like this. He has never felt anger of this intensity, not even when he got to know about Jisoo and Jungkook

Jisoo knows she messed up but what hurts her the most is seeing Taehyung like this.. She walks towards the couch and kneels down in front of him. She then takes his hand onto her and looks at him

"I am--I am sorry  but I lied only because I was scared. That you'd leave me afte hearing about us. I have no one in Paris and you're the only person I have. And I didn't even ask him to come here, he barged in and tried to win me back. But I said no, I made him leave. I know it is hard to trust me but please, just this once, listen to me. I have no feelings for him, neither do I want to see him ever again" Jisoo says
