Chapter 2

"Come, let's get you cleaned up" Princess Iron Fan said picking Macaque up and turned to a servant "go prepare a bath" she said and the servants left to fulfill the request "let's get you to my chambers" Iron Fan said leading him to her chambers. When they reached her chambers she sat Macaque down on her bed "are you hurt anywhere else?" Iron Fan asked looking at Macaque in concern, Macaque didn't answer just buried his face deeper into his scarf, not wanting to tell her "Xiăo dìdì...please" Iron Fan said

Macaque looked at her and gently removes his cape like scarf along with his shirt showing more bruises, cuts, most of his fur was missing or covered in blood, and there was a big bruise on his neck. Iron Fan let out a gasp at the sight of her little brother state. Then she felt bubbling rage "who did this to you?" She asked trying to control her temper with her little brother here, Macaque didn't look at her as he continued to look down at his lap in shame as tears started to fill his eyes, finally he found his voice and answered 

"......Sun Wukong"

Princess Iron Fan eyes widened and soon burst into flames as her anger begins to bubble over, but with one look from Macaque made her anger disappear in an instant and quickly pulled him into a much needed hug, Macaque froze for a moment and then wrapped his arms around her burying his face into the crook of her neck. They stayed like this for five minutes until they heard a knock "yes?" Iron Fan said breaking from the hug "the bath is ready Princess" the servant called out "alright, thank you" Iron Fan said then turned to Macaque as he puts his shirt back on "come now" Iron Fan said gently taking Macaques hand and leads him to the washroom 

When they reached the washroom Iron Fan turned to Macaque "I'll prepare a room for you along with something to eat, I will come back to check up on you okay" Iron Fan said, Macaque looked up at her and nodded, Iron Fan gave him a comforting smile and left and Macaque watched her leave. Then he looks at the bath and slowly removes his clothes along with the bandage over his right eye and then steps into the bath, letting a small sigh feeling every tensed muscle in his body relax in the hot water and began to clean himself up going gently on the bruises and cuts. As he gently runs the cloth over his shoulder he stares down at his reflection and saw Sun Wukong glaring up at him his golden eyes red

"SHUT UP!!!!"

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!!"

"PATHETIC!!!"

"WEAK!!!"

Macaque let out a gasp at the memories and looks around to see that Sun Wukong wasn't here, and that he was in the washroom alone "he's not here, he's not here, he's back at Flower Fruit Mountain...he's not here" he whispered to himself over and over again as fresh tears streamed down his face dripping into the water under him. When he calmed himself down he began rinsing himself up with the water, when all the soap was off him he steps out of the tub and began drying his fur with the towel. When he tied the towel around his waist he heard a knock on the door "are you finished?" The servant said through the door "yes" Macaque said making sure that the towel was on securely. Then the doors open and the servant came in with some clothes in her hands "Princess  Iron Fan brought you some clothes that might fit you" they said handing him the clothes "thank you" Macaque said, the servant bowed and left

When the servant left Macaque looked at the clothes in his hands it was a plum colored hanfu shirt with black baggy pants and white socks along with a hair brush, he puts on the clothes and began brushing his fur and hair his tail flickering from side to side from the feeling of the soft brush against his fur. When he finished he grabs his clothes with his tail and left the washroom where another servant was waiting for him "Princess Iron Fan asked me to escort you to where you will be staying" the servant said and leads Macaque to the chamber. When they reached the room the servant bowed and left, Macaque then enters the room it was big, warm, with a large bed, a tray of food on the nightstand, and saw Iron Fan finishing preparing the bed. Iron Fan then turns around and saw Macaque standing by the doorway "Come I've just finished getting your room ready" Iron Fan said. Macaque slowly walks into the room and sits down on the bed "let's get your wound dressed" Iron Fan said pulling out a medical kit 

She gently placed ointment on Macaques right eye making sure to be as gentle as possible, when she finished she grabs the role of bandages and began to wrap it around her little brothers right eye "Does it still hurt" Princess Iron Fan said as she carefully wrapped the new bandage over his right eye "no...just stings when I open it" Macaque said holding still "finished" Iron Fan said cutting the bandage and tied the ends up "now I have to go for some planning, I'll come back to check up on you, I promise" Iron Fan said, Macaque nodded and Iron Fan left closing the door behind her. When she was gone Macaque looks at the night stand where the tray of food was it had congee, dumplings, scrambled eggs, sliced mangoes, and a cup of tea. Macaque picks up the tray and placed it on the bed, as he was about to eat he felt a tug on his tail, he looks down and saw Red Boy looking up at him tugging on his tail 

"Hey little guy, how did you get here?" Macaque said gently wrapping his tail around Red Boy and lifting him up to the bed on his lap, Red Boy let out a giggle and hugged the tail his own bull tail wagging, Macaque let out a laugh and began tickling Red Boys belly earning a laugh from the one year old demon. He then turned to the tray and began eating with Red Boy eating a dumpling and a mango slice, when he finished he looks down at Red Boy who was munching on a mango slice looks up at him and smiles showing off the one fang in his mouth, Macaque couldn't help but laugh as he began to clean up Red Boys face with a napkin "look at you, all messy, a prince like yourself shouldn't have such a messy face" Macaque said cleaning up Red Boys face, Red boy just laughed as his uncle cleaned up his face "there, all clean" Macaque said finishing up and placing the napkin on the tray, then Macaque stuck his tongue out and Red Boy giggled at the funny face his uncle made and the two spends the whole day playing with each other

Princess Iron Fan open the door to her little brothers room and saw Macaque and Red Boy on the bed, curled up together asleep, Iron Fan couldn't help but smile at the adorable sight and quietly closed the door not wanting to disturb the cute moment
