Stitching A Broken Heart

Chapter 3

Macaque stays with Iron Fan for three weeks, his bruises and cuts have healed, but his right eye is still covered in bandages, so far Macaque has been healing physically, but mentally.....that's another thing. Every night he would wake up in cold sweat panting and out of breath and would have server panic attacks that would lead him to hurting himself by accident, but his sister was always there by his side comforting him when he suffers from a panic attack. Princess Iron Fan had asked what had Sun Wukong do to him, but Macaque didn't say anything, he barely speaks even though the big bruise around his neck had healed  

Princess Iron Fan was walking down the hallway after calming down Macaque from a nightmare when she came to a halt at the sudden change in atmosphere 'Something's wrong' she thought as her eyes scanned the hallway. Then the fires on the torches grew bigger and turned into a sinister red and Princess Iron Fan pulls out her fan and prepares herself in a fight stands "Show yourself!" She called out, then she heard a familar sinister laugh echoed across the walls and Princess Iron Fan waved her fan and with a great big gust of wind all the torches were out and the laughter disappeared leaving her alone in the dark hallway 'After all these years, and now he decides to appear...just to mock me?!?!' She thought gripping her fan tightly in anger

Then all the torches lit back up but in a normal fire glow "ma?" A voice said from behind her, she turns around and sees Red Boy standing in the hallway with a blanket over his shoulders and looking up at her. Princess Iron Fan let out a sigh of relief as she put her fan away "now how did you get out of your crib?" Iron Fan said gently picking her son up with a gentle smile "come now, let's get you back to bed" she said and walked to Red Boys room not noticing a shadow of a figure on the wall smiling with red glowing eyes before disappearing

The next morning Macaque woke up to the smell of breakfast, he sits up and saw a tray filled with Baozi, rice porridge, a bowl of sliced mangoes, and a hot cup of tea all ready and prepared for Macaque, he spots a note on the tray that says 'Enjoy, PIF' And Macaque couldn't help but smile and began to eat. As he finished drinking his tea he heard the door open, he looks at the door to see no one there "huh?" He said in confusion, then he felt a tug on his tail and saw Red Boy staring up at him with a smile "Shū!" Red Boy said his little tail wagging "Red Boy, where did you come from " Macaque said lifting Red Boy onto the bed with his tail "Shū pay!" Red Boy said smiling up at his uncle 

"Sure, we can play, but how about a bath first huh bud" Macaque said standing up and heading out the room towards the washroom. Once they were cleaned they went to Red Boys room to play, while in the middle of the game peekaboo Princess Iron Fan walks in with a gentle smile on her face "I see you two are having fun" Iron Fan said smiling "ma!" Red Boy said smiling up at his mother "hey, Jiějiě" Macaque said smiling up at his sister, Iron Fan kneeled down and Red Boy attention was now onto the bull plush "how is your eye?" Iron Fan asked turning to Macaque "it's getting better, it doesn't hurt too bad anymore" Macaque said looking at Iron Fan then back to Red Boy. Iron Fan looked at Macaque closely noticing how his six ears droop and how his eye looked so distant "is there something troubling you?" Iron Fan asked making Macaque jolt a little "what makes you think that?" Macaque said "your ears are drooping and you look like you're hiding something" Iron Fan said gently pulling on one of Macaques ears

"Hey!" Macaque said gently swatting her hand away from his ears letting out a small laugh, then his smile faltered a little "it's just...nothing, nevermind" Macaque said rubbing the back of his neck "Xiăo dìdì, tell me" Iron Fan said. Macaque let out a sigh "I'm...afraid that...He might find me" Macaque said frowning, Iron Fan eyes widened at realization of who He is "but he won't, your safe here" Iron Fan said placing a hand on her little brothers shoulder "but for how long...you know that he's too powerful for you to fight alone" Macaque said. Iron Fan looked away for a bit then looked down at Red Boy 'he's right...I can't beat him and he can destroy this place without even blinking an eye, then...what would happen to Red Boy?' Iron Fan thought looking at Red Boy who smiled up at her, Iron Fan let out a sigh and looked at Macaque "but what will happen to you...where will you go?" She asked in concern 

Macaque thought about for a moment and remembered something "there's a house, hidden deep in the forest, far away from the ocean, and far away from the mountain, and there's a nearby village there, you and Red Boy can come and visit anytime you want, when it's all ready since it needs a bit..okay a lot of fixing but I'll be hidden and safe" Macaque said smiling up at his sister. Iron Fan paused for a moment thinking about the idea and smiled "alright...but I will check up on you, understand" Iron Fan said smiling "understood" Macaque said smiling at his big sister, Iron Fan then pulls him into a hug and Macaque returned the hug "so when will you be leaving?" Iron Fan asked breaking the hug "in three days" Macaque said then turned to Red Boy who was chewing on the Bull plush ear "but until then, let's enjoy the rest of the days the most" Macaque said attacking Red Boy with tickles getting a squeal laughter from the one year old

Macaque was placing the last of his clothes in a bag and placed the bag over his shoulder as he left the room where Iron Fan and Red Boy were waiting "here, some money for the village" Iron Fan said handing Macaque a bag filled with money "thank you" Macaque said tying the bag around his waist "take care" Macaque said to his big sister giving her a hug "you as well Xiăo dìdì" Iron Fan said returning the hug, Macaque then turned to Red Boy "now don't you give your mother any problems when I'm gone mister" Macaque said gently poking Red Boys stomach getting a giggle out of Red Boy. Macaque smiled at Iron Fan and created a shadow portal and entered leaving Thunderclap mountain

When he exits  the shadow portal he soon finds himself back to the house in the courtyard, he enters the house and looks around and sighed "okay" he said entering the house, only for his foot to fall into another hole on the floor making him let out another sigh "great" he said
