Chapter 27

Three Weeks Later:

After the battle with DBK things have been rather quiet, the rebuilding of the city was making great progress, MK (who was smuggled out of the house by Mei when he was suppose to be resting and doesn't know it) and Mei were at the docks with Sandy as they watched the water spirit lifting and moving crates "and, there! What do you think?" Mei said finishing the drawing of a green water dragon on MKs leg cast that was right next to the Monkey King drawing "I think it looks great, though I'm pretty sure that I don't have anymore room on my cast for anymore drawings" MK said looking down at his cast that was covered with drawings and signatures from his friends and dads "your absolutely sure Dadsy and Baba are okay with this?" MK asked having a bad feeling "oh of course they're okay with this, you needed to get out of the house anyway!" Mei said smiling at her friend

Just then Pigsy's truck screeched to a stop and a worried Tang came out of the truck along with an angry Pigsy "MK, there you are!" Tang said running towards MK and wrapping him into a hug "Baba" MK said surprised by his dads sudden appearance "what are you doing here kid, you had us worried sick! You're supposed to be in bed resting!" Pigsy said marching up to his son "what, but Mei said that you guys said that I need to get out of the house" MK said totally confused "did she now" Tang said turning towards Mei who was quietly sneaking away only to freeze when she felt the scholar's and the chefs menacing gaze on her "hehehehe...you know there's a really good explanation for this" Mei said a sweatdrop formed on her head with a nervous smile

But before the angry dads could say anything Sandy called out to them "guys look out!" Sandy said as he pointed up to where a crate was coming loose as it's chain was breaking, the chain snapped and the crate began falling down to where the others were. Pigsy and Mei scrambled out of there but Tang felt a hard shove as the crate crashed down to the ground....with MK under it "MK!!" Tang shouted running up to the crate and tried to lift the heavy crate off his son "Kid!!" Pigsy called out running to the crate. Then the top of the crate burst open and MK leaps out of the crate and back to the ground landing on his uninjured leg and unharmed "MK your alright!!" Tang said pulling MK into a tight hug checking to see if the teen was injured anywhere "yeah I'm okay, why?" MK said just as Pigsy, Mei, and Sandy came up to them

"Dude, a large heavy crate fell on top of you!!?" Mei said pointing to the crate that fell onto MK "it did, I had my eyes closed and barely felt it" MK said scratching the back of his head. Then Mei let out a loud long gasp "you must have Monkey King powers...do you know what this means?!" Mei said pulling MK to her "uuuhhh" MK said confused "it means...YOUR INVINCIBLE!!!" Mei shouted smiling, MK finally processed on what she said "I'm invincible!?" MK said in realization "mm-hm and what better way to prove it, is to test it!" Mei said pulling out her phone, with a pressed of a button a rocket launchers appeared and pointed at MK "Mei what are you doing?!" Pigsy said as a rocket launcher was pointed at his son "you'll see, Hey MK, How about...this!" Mei said pressing the button on her phone

Everyone watched in horror as dozens of rocket launchers fired and hits MK creating a massive explosion as smoke covers the area. Once the smoke clears, it shows a pile of rubble and MK in the middle his eyes closed and with not a scratch on him, the teen opened his eyes and checked himself and saw that there was not even a scratch on him "I. AM. INVINCIBLE!!!" MK shouted in the air with a big smile "Yeah!!" Mei said jumping in the air cheering as well while Pigsy tried to get his heart beating back to normal and Sandy fanning a passed out Tang 'I don't know which one will give me a heart attack MK or Mei' Pigsy thought after making sure his heart was beating normally. Pigsy gives a frustrated sigh, "Look kiddo,' you're a superhero now. You're going to need--" but Mei cut him off

"A cape! Oh, Maybe a logo, or a headquarters, some vehicles, you know. All the stuff to help you beat up bad guys!" Mei said smiling "No!" Pigsy speaks up "What I was getting at was--" but Mei cut him off again "To the secret....Base!" Mei said, running over to a part of Sandy's ship, and activating a secret door. The doors opened to reveal an elevator, the others soon following in. Mei presses a button and the elevator went down, before the doors open up once more to reveal a dark room. Mei walks out into the darkness, to a single light in the center "Welcome..." Mei trails off dramatically "To our new team base!" Mei said.The dragon girl does a silly pose, as the lights turn on, showing the room around them. The males all gasping in awe, looking around to see vehicles galore, a monkey mech, and a living room area with a video game
