Stitching A Broken Heart

Chapter 5

It was raining on that day and the house Macaque was fixing up had a leak....or leaks to be persist. Every pot, bowl, and cup Macaque could find that wasn't broken were spread out across the floor catching the dripping water that fell through the roof and landing into the pot. Macaque let out a sigh as his ears twitched at the sound of water dripping was almost relaxing, he replaced a jar that was full with an empty one and went outside to pour out the water, as he was pouring the water outside he saw the Chrysanthemum on the field and Macaques hand gently cupping his stomach in a deep like trance, he was taken out of his trance when he felt water drip on his head, he looks up at saw another leak and let out a sigh, tomorrow he was DEFINITELY going to visit the village

The village was busy, if not wet from yesterday's rain, but it didn't stop the people. There were children playing, people talking, going on with their lives and the market was busy as ever, selling all kinds of food, fresh, raw, cooked, dead, or alive. As Macaque in a disguise loaded the last piece of wood onto the jige he ties the wood securely, place the jige onto his back and began to leave the village when a scent makes him stop at his tracks, he sniffs the air as he follows to where the scent is. He came to a stop at a noodle shop 'That's where it's coming from' Macaque thought his mouth watering his stomach growling, he quickly walked into an alley so no one could see him and summons a shadow clone "take this back to the house" he said handing the jige to the clone, the shadow clone nodded and leaps onto the roofs zooming back to the house 

When the shadow clone was gone he walks out of the alley and towards the noodle shop, he pushes the curtains away as he enters the shop. He saw that it was filled with people talking, laughing, and eating noodles, he finds an empty table and took a seat. His stomach growls again and he placed the hand on his stomach "easy now I know you're hungry but be patient little one" he whispered, then a waitress came and placed a cup on the table "what kind of tea would you like?" The waitress asked, Macaque thinks about it for a moment "do you serve green tea?" Macaque asked the waitress "yes" the waitress said "then I'll have that" Macaque said the waitress nodded and left 

Macaque looked around the shop seeing everyone talking and laughing, he then spotted a couple nearby with their hands holding, Macaque then remembered how he and Sun Wukong were like that, how happy he was, and how caring and loving Sun Wukong was and how Sun Wukong always made him feel like he was everything. His thoughts were interrupted when the waitress came back and poured his tea "what would you like to eat?" She asked "umm...beef noodle soup" Macaque said "coming right up" she said and left to get his order. As she left Macaque took the cup and takes a sip from it feeling all his nerves relax and stress melted off of him, he takes another sip when he heard loud voices, he turns and saw three men in armor with swords laughing and talking loudly to each other as they sit at the bar and ordered food 

Finally the waitress came with his food "enjoy your meal" she said and left, Macaque looked at the meal in front of him and he literally drooled at the sight, he picks up the chopsticks, grabs a good amount of the noodles and began eating, and it was the best thing he has ever tasted, from the beef, the veggies, to the noodles 'IT'S SO GOOD!' he thought as he ate more of the noodles. When all of the noodles meat, and veggies were gone he drinks up the broth and placed the empty bowl back onto the table "we were really hungry huh little one?" Macaque whispered placing his hand on his stomach, he placed the money on the table, got up and left the shop not knowing that the three men who were watching him got up and followed him as well 

As he left another scent has caught his nose, he follows it to a stand where a man was selling dead chicken, he spots a big plump one "how much is for that one?" He asked pointing to the plump chicken, the man looks at it, then back to Macaque and held five fingers. Macaque gave the man the money and the man handed him the chicken, Macaque bows and left. As he was walking he started to notice that the three men who were in the noodle shop were following him and smiled his eyes glowing purple as he turned to an alley, the three men followed him only to find an empty alleyway "where he go?" The first man asked scratching his head in confusion

Meanwhile back at the old house Macaque was on the roof fixing the holes on the roof along with some shadow clone smiling "idiot's" he said not holding back a laugh today in the market was fun
