MK hums to himself as he grabs some tea leaves from a bowl and dropped them in the tea kettle brewer of Sandy's outdoor kitchen as the water spirit teaches him on making tea "alright little man, now just raise the temperature just a bit, but not too much or the tea will boil over" Sandy said watching the teen turn the knob as the flames under the pot lowered "good, now stir the tea gently" Sandy said, MK nodded and began stirring the tea in a gentle motion "well done, now let's have a taste" Sandy said taking the kettle off the stove, pour the tea into the cups, and the two took a sip of the tea. As the water spirit took a sip of MKs tea his eyes widened and let out a gasp "I-I's it bad?" MK said looking at his friend in worry "no...It's.....AMAZING!!!!" Sandy said stars in his eyes "you made a perfect blend of green and oolong tea with honey!!" Sandy said taking another sip of the tea

MK let out a sigh of relief "thanks" the teen said with a smile, then their was a loud thud on the ship scaring Sandy, MK, and Mo, they turn to see a wooden crate covered in warning labels and chains all over the crate "what the?" MK said looking at the crate, he looks up and saw a medium white box with handles on the top floated down on a cloud from a portal along with a small package as the smaller box lands on the ground safely the gateway disappeared "what the double what?" MK said taking the smaller package, he open it and saw a letter and a golden blindfold "what's the letter say?" Sandy asked as he and Mo looked at the large crate and medium box

"Dear MK,

As you know I'm super busy on vacation, I've got a special delivery but I won't be able to get to it for a while, you must not open it, no matter what, It's bad news, but I know you'll listen cause you were raised by Macaque. I also got a package for you that's in the white box, but don't open it now, just deliver it to Macaque and he'll show you it later, I also thought of a new training exercise for you, since your mother is the Six Eared Macaque, you must have inherited your mother extra ears so I've sent you a training blindfold, you must wear this blindfold all day, after all, your opponents won't always give you a fair fight, and some may use dirty tactics to blind you in an attempt to gain the upperhand. This is where your ears come in, their sensitive nature able to catch any noise around you, acting as a second pair of eyes, and knowing Macaque, you must also rely on your shadows as well, anyway I gotta cut this letter short so take care and tell Mango I said hi and I love him

As MK finished reading the letter he looks at the golden blindfold in his hand with a smile and brought it up to his face, tying it with a determined smirk "alright, master of hearing here I come!" MK said taking a step, but trips on his foot and face plants on the metal floor of the ship "uhh" Sandy said looking down at the teen "I'm okay!" MK said standing back up "do you need some help there little man?" Sandy asked looking at his friend in worry "no, no, no I got this, I just need to focus, and rely on my hearing and shadows" MK said taking a deep breath and started concentrating. As he concentrate his hearing began to increase more than usual hearing things that were too far away, to even the smallest noise, he then heard whispers from under him and began walking off the ship the whispers telling him where to go "MK wait, don't forget your package" Sandy said holding out the white box "oh, thanks Sandy" MK said taking the box, he then turns around and concentrate the whispers came back and he began walking down the sidewalk his shadows whispers telling him which way to go as he listen to the things around him

'I think I'm getting the hang of this' he thought walking down the sidewalk, but he almost lost focus by loud dramatic crying making him wince in pain "what the?" MK said in confusion, then the familiar scent of his Dadsy's noodle shop filled his nose and he was nearly tackled to the ground by a strong force almost making him drop his package "MK!!!!" Mei wailed letting out another loud cry "Mei, what's wrong, why are you crying?" MK asked patting his friends back "MK, your Dad has gone insane!!" Mei said crying "what do you mean insane, what has he done?" MK asked in confusion at what did she meant "your dad is getting rid of Monkey Mech 3, and replacing it with a ping pong table, A PING PONG TABLE!!!!" Mei said sobbing dramatically "I told you I'm not getting rid of it!" Pigsy said coming up to the two "the game broke and I'm having it fix, and the ping pong table was a mistake, but the game will be back in next week" Pigsy said crossing his arms "but that's toooo long and all of my progress will be gone!" Mei said letting out a whine

The pig demon then notice the golden blindfold on the teens face "uh kid, what's with the blindfold?" Pigsy said looking at the blindfold "oh Monkey King gave me this so I can practice on my hearing since I have four ears" MK said smiling, he hears Mei letting out a gasp "you have four ears?!" Mei said forgetting her sadness "yeah, I got them from my ma" MK said rubbing the back of his head "what do they look like, are they pretty, tell me, tell me, tell me!" Mei said jumping up and down in excitement "well, I don't remember too much about them, but they were big, Ma said that they were the size of lotus petals when I was a baby and they were soft as lotus petals too, the top part of my ears are gold on the inside, and my bottom pair are purple" MK said describing his fur ears the best he could "that sounds so adorable, I wish I can see what you look like as a monkey" Mei said pouting

"Yeah me too, but my ma said I have to unlock my true form myself" MK said shrugging his shoulder "anyway, I gotta deliver this package to my ma" MK said holding out the package in his hand "are you sure you'll be okay going on your own?" Tang asked worried "I'll be fine Baba, I'll come right back after I give ma the package" MK said smiling at the direction to where his Baba was "alright, in the meantime me and Mei will stay here and keep an eye on your dad so that he won't go ping pong crazy again" Tang said looking over at his husband

"I told you I won't got crazy again" Pigsy said looking at his husband "mh-hm, just like you didn't go ping pong crazy on our 3rd date AND our 2nd anniversary" Tang said crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow, Pigsy made a blank face and looked away a sweatdrop on his head "I have no idea what you're talking about" Pigsy said denying it as the teens snicker and tried to hold in their laughter "well I better go, see you guys later!" MK said walking down the sidewalk "later MK!" Mei called out waving at her friend

As MK walked down the dirt path as he listens to the sounds of nature along with the whispers of his shadow 'okay, so far so good' MK thought walking down the path with a smile, but the he felt something hard hit his foot and he sticks his arm out to feel something cold and hard like a rock "I made it!" MK said pushing the doors open and walking into the courtyard "hello, Ma are you home!" MK called out walking carefully through the courtyard, he then heard noise from behind and quickly jumps out the way, he jumps and dodges more of the strange force trying to hit him while making sure to keep the package from getting damaged, he whips out his staff and blocks the it, the he heard a familiar chuckle "not bad cub" Macaque voice said making MK gasp in realization of who he was fighting "ma?" MK said lowering his staff

"Yep, I see your doing a training exercise for your hearing huh" Macaque said looking at the golden blindfold on MKs face "yeah, I'm training on my hearing incase bad guys want to fight dirty" MK said placing his staff away "I see, and it's a good thing too" Macaque said smiling "oh, Monkey King wanted me to give this to you" MK said holding out the white package out to Macaque "Monkey King said it was for me but he told me not to open it and give it to you, I don't why though" MK said as Macaque took the package, the tanned simian opened the package and smiled before closing it "well you know him, has so many surprises but so little explanations" Macaque said smiling "Yeah, well I better go back to the noodle shop, see you later ma" MK said turning around and retracing his steps out of the courtyard "oh and I almost forgot, Monkey King said hi and he loves you!" MK called out and left, Macaque blushes and couldn't help but let out a chuckle 'I love you too, you Peach for brains' Macaque thought looking up at the sky
