Monkey King could only stare in shock, completely speechless at Macaque who also stood in shock as a well while MK stood at the sidelines and watched in worry for what was going to happen, the silence stretched on for what felt like an eternity until finally Macaque broke the silence "I know what you're gonna say Wukong" Macaque said trying to keep his voice from trembling "how could I have done this...how could I have....have left you and our home...stayed away all those years without a single trace, and why haven't I come back, to you, to our subjects" Macaque said looking at Monkey King "well, what sign did I have that you wouldn't hurt me again Wukong, that you wouldn't do the things you did to me again" Macaque said as Monkey King slowly walked towards him

"I begged for you to stop, I pleaded you to tell me why, what had happened to you after you fought Demon Bull King, what had happened to my King that made you so angry" Macaque said slowly backing up "I know that I left you without an explanation...but I thought it would be best to just leave...and that you're better off without me. And I was wrong, I see that now but..." Macaque said backing up but his back met the base of the mango tree as Monkey King walked closer to the shadow demon "s-stop staring at me Wukong..go on, shout, scream, lash out at me, DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING!" Macaque said tears filling his eyes, he let out a small gasp as Monkey King placed a gentle hand on his cheek as the two stared into each other's eyes

"..........you're as beautiful as the day I lost you" Monkey King said unshead tears in his eyes

Macaque stared at the king speechless as Monkey King slowly leaned toward Macaque and gently kissed him, Macaque melted into the kiss his face and the tip of his ears bright red as he slowly kisses back, their tails entwined together while MK stood there in awe, soon they parted from the kiss and pressed their foreheads together "I missed you so much Mangoes" Monkey King said a tear running down his face "I missed you more" Macaque said tears falling down his face "I always thought that....I would be terrified if I were ever to see you again, and now.....now I'm just so happy to see you again" Macaque said smiling as more tears fell from his face "I always thought that the reason why you left was because of something I did wrong to make you leave....now I see why and I'm sorry, I'm so sorry for hurting you, for causing you so much pain that you never deserved" Monkey King said more tears running down his face his face "I remember and I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Monkey King said apologizing repeatedly to his husband

"What are you sorry for, I was the one that made you angry" Macaque said, Monkey King reel back in shock at what he heard "no, no, no, no, it wasn't your fault, it was mine...I was the one who did this to you, if I hadn't let Kai-" Monkey King was interrupted by Macaque "Kai?" Macaque said eyes widened, Monkey King looks at him then down at the ground "Kai, cast a spell on me, poisoning my mind and forcing me to hurt you" Monkey King said. Macaque gasped and covered his mouth in shock 'So this was all Kai's planning, to ruin my relationship with Monkey King' he thought clenching his hands "I know that it's not an excuse for what I've done, but I will do everything in my power to make it up to you, I promise, no, I swear it" Monkey King said staring into his husbands eyes, Macaque blushes and smiled a little "you always know how to make me blush" Macaque said smiling "that's part of my charm" Monkey King said smiling back. The moment would've lasted longer but MK interrupts "uhhhhh Ma, how do you know the Monkey King?" MK asked completely confused "Ma?" Monkey King said confused as well

Macaque looked back at his cub then back to his husband "well, there's no better explanation to put this but....MK is, my cub...and....your son" Macaque said, Monkey King and MK both gasped in shock "I have a son.....I....have.....a son?" Monkey King asked still in shock "Monkey King is my dad?!" MK said eyes filled with stars and a huge smile on his face, however Monkey King was still in shock by the new information and fainted

Afterwards when Monkey King woke up, the three were inside the house as Macaque explained everything after he left Flower Fruit Mountain "and that's what happened" Macaque said finishing his story "so all this time, MK is actually my son" Monkey King said clutching his head, Macaque nods his head and Monkey King chuckled "well...that explains why the kid is so much like you" Monkey King said smiling and Macaque chuckled too "yes he does" Macaque said while MK rubbed the back of his head "but he's also like you too, with so much determination, energy, and above all a little childish" Macaque said smiling "hey!" MK said and Macaque chuckled "but it's true" Macaque said, MK huffed and cross his arms his cheeks puffed out. Monkey King chuckled but slowly frowns, Macaque notice this "what's wrong?" Macaque asked looking at his husband in concern "I still don't know why you would forgive me so easily, I hurt you so badly, I broke your trust, I Scarred you and you still found it in your heart not to hate me" Monkey King said clutching his sleeves

Macaque was stunned by this and looked down at his lap "it's true, you have hurt me, I thought that I would never forgive you and that I'd be so angry at you" Macaque said clutching his fist, Monkey King looks away in shame "however, every time I try to bring myself to hate you...I can't find it in my heart to do so" Macaque said slowly relaxing his hand "because...this special, incredible boy wouldn't be with us today" Macaque said smiling at his cub "and even though we can't change the past, we still have a future ahead of us, so....I'm willing to trust you again" Macaque said smiling at his husband, Monkey King was stunned and smiled back "thank you" Monkey King said smiling. MK smiled at the scene and then has another crazy idea "I've got it!" MK said startling the two simians "how about we spend the whole week together, like a family bonding week, and that way you guys can patch up things up and connect better, what do you think" MK asked smiling "that....sounds like a great idea bud!" Monkey King said ruffling MK's hair. The teen then looks back to his ma "please ma" MK said, Macaque sighed and smiled "alright then" Macaque said MK smiled "great, I'll tell my dads and start packing" MK said creating a shadow portal "bye!" MK said and ran through the portal "well, since we have some time on our hands, why don't we discuss your training methods with MK" Macaque said smiling while the shadows crawled up behind him "uh hehe, w-what did t-the kid told you?" Monkey King said shrinking from the shadow simians gaze
