Kai shields his face from the sand blowing into his face as he walks towards the wreckage of his vehicle, he then pulls out a compass and opens it glaring at his reflection as his eyes narrowed at the memory

Kai grunts as he fall through a portal and onto the hard cold ground he turns back around to the smiling Mayor who pushed him out of the portal and growls and charges after the Mayor but the portal closed and the cursed Immortal nearly fell off the edge of the mechs head, he looks and sees most of the city covered in ice 'what?' Kai thought, he then turns around to see Monkey King's staff covered in ice "the staff, the city....you've been busy" Kai said turning around to face the Lady Bone Demon who was floating in the air "tell me, what madness overcame that you would forsake your oath? When did you decide to betray me?" Lady Bone Demon asked Kai scoffed and cross his arms "listen, Lady Bone--" but Kai was cut off by a cold gust of wind when Lady Bone Demon opened her eyes

"Have you forgotten who I am? WHAT I AM?!" Lady Bone Demon said her eyes glowing blue "I who returned you to the mortal plain" Lady Bone Demon said as the memories from when Kai was being triad, forced to be on his knees as diamond snares wrapped tightly around his body, as Erleng Shen, Nezha, The Divine Bodhisattva Quan Yin, The Jade Emperor, and Buddha stood in front of him. Buddha lifted his hand and the cursed Immortal was soon dragged down into The Shadow Realm "all in exchange for such a little favor" Lady Bone Demon said as the memory showed her freeing Kai from the realm "that when the time came, you'd free me, aid me at my pursuit of the equilibrium" Lady Bone Demon said as the memories showed Lady Bone Demon giving the cursed immortal the Skelton Key "but no, with the first breath of new life, you rebelled against your fate" Lady Bone Demon said as Kai fell to the ground on his knees the pain in his head gone

"So, you want something?" Kai said looking up at the bone witch "I offer one more chance at redemption, bring me the Monkey King, Liu'er Mihou and their offspring and perhaps...you will be worthy of my mercy" Lady Bone Demon said, she then lifted up her hand and creates a compass and makes it float towards the cursed Immortal "and this is?" Kai said as the compass drops into his hands "a compass, of sorts, no matter where they flee this will find them" Lady Bone Demon said, Kai smirks as he stands up "convenient" Kai said tossing the compass in his hands "alrighty then, seems like they got a bit of headway so--" but Kai was cut off as a seal appears from under his foot and blue chains wrapped around his arms and legs "what is this?" Kai said grunting as the Mayor appears behind him smiling "a reminder, it seems you cannot be trusted to willingly follow the path of destiny, but know this, if you betray me again, on misstep, one failure" Lady Bone Demon said as the Mayor pushed the cursed Immortal down into the seal "in anyway, I will erase the very memory of you, now bring them to me my champion" Lady Bone Demon said as the Mayor pushed him into the seal

Kai close the compass and stares up at the afternoon sun

MK said his vision zooming in and out "you did it MK!" Mei said cheering "way to go little man!" Sandy said cheering too "well done cub" Macaque said gently ruffling the teens hair, his ears twitched and turns to see Tang struggling to carry a large stack of books to the van "need some help?" Macaque asked picking up the top half of the stack of books from the scholar "thank you" Tang said relief that some of the weight was lifted off, Macaque nodded his head and help the others load up the van
