Back on the mountain the three watched the fireworks go off in the sky "Happy New Year!!!!" Monkey King and MK said at the same time while Macaque smiled wearing noise canceling headphones "Fireworks!!" Monkey King said jumping and flipping in the air happily "over a millennia and fireworks are still the best thing humans have invented" Monkey King said grabbing another snow skin mooncake from the basket and taking a bite from the treat "ma you make the best mooncakes ever!" MK said taking a bite of the mooncake, Macaque chuckled "I try" Macaque said smiling, his smile faded away when he looks back up at the sky "huh?" The tanned simian said confused taking off his headphones, MK and Monkey King followed Macaques gaze and saw that the fireworks were gone "what happened to the fireworks?!" MK said standing up

Suddenly Macaques ears began twitching, all six ears moving around as MK felt a familiar headache and his eyes of truth activate, his vision zoomed in towards the city and saw a large spider mech causing havoc in the city making the teen gasp "THE CITY!!!" MK said in shock "THE FIREWORKS!!!" Monkey King said in shock as well "Wukong!" Macaque said glaring at the copper simian as the teen gave his dad an unimpressed look "oh, also people getting hurt, I guess" Monkey King said with a sweatdrop on his head "alright, I'll take care of this mess" MK said pulling out his staff and leaps off the cliff. The sound of people screaming could be heard in the distance as they approached the city as smoke rose up in the air as the large spider mech continued to walk sown the street. Monkey King, Macaque, and MK soon made it to the city "huh, guess Spider Queen finally crawled out of her cesspit" Monkey King said with a grin, MK looked down and watches as spider mechs attacked innocent people making the teen shrieks his arms tightening around Monkey King's waist nearly suffocating him and making the copper simian almost drop Macaque "AH, spiders, no, get them away, get away!!" MK said scrambling up to his dads head, his shrieking nearly caused Monkey King to lose control of his cloud "cub, calm down" Macaque said holding onto his husband. Monkey King circled around the spider mech, landing behind spider queen, who smirks when she sees him "Oh, Monkey king! well isn't this a nice surprise, finally come outta hiding just to see me?"
