One Month later:

Macaque hummed to himself as he picks red berries from the shrub sniffing them to see if they're alright to eat before placing them into the basket, when he picked enough he stand up with the help of a nearby tree and began walking back home, as he walks down the path he couldn't help but smile as he heard the sound of laughter from the village as they get ready for New Year's, he makes it to the stone gate that had lanterns hung up on the sides and entered into the courtyard which was decorated in lanterns, good luck charms, door couplets, an upside down fuk, and red packets

As Macaque walked up to the house he yelped in surprise when he heard the loud sounds of popping, he looks at where the sound was coming from and saw Red Boy lighting up firecrackers with a small flame in his hand laughing loudly at the small explosions "Red Boy I told you not to light the firecrackers without me or Iron Fan around" Macaque said gently scolding the demonic one year old, Red Boy looked down at the ground in sadness to show that he's sorry "it's okay, you're forgiven, just don't do it without us with you, okay" Macaque said gently patting Red Boys head, Red Boy smiled and nodded. Macaque smiled as well and headed inside towards the kitchen with Red Boy following behind him

As Macaque enters the kitchen, he spots Princess Iron Fan in the process of making mooncakes, she looks up and smiles when she saw Macaque "I brought more berries" he said placing the basket on the table, Iron Fan nodded, takes a handful of the berries, placed them into the mortar, and used the pestle to smash the berries into a red pulp "how was your trip?" Iron Fan said as Macaque hangs up the winter cloak "it was peaceful, no danger whatsoev-oh!" Macaque was cut off when he felt a strong kick from his stomach, his hand immediately going over his stomach "are you alright?" Iron Fan said walking up to her little brother in worry "I'm fine...the baby just kicked a little too hard is all" Macaque said gently rubbing the area where he was kicked

Iron Fan still didn't look convinced "are you sure your alright?" Iron Fan said in concern "Jiějiě, I'm six and a half months pregnant, I'm fine" Macaque said giving his sister a smile, Iron Fan looked at Macaque in concern and let out a sigh "alright" Iron Fan said going back to the berries, only to find Red Boy who somehow managed to climbed up onto the table eating the berries "Red Boy no, don't eat those, they're for the mooncakes!" Iron Fan said pulling Red Boy away from the basket "oh let him be, a few berries won't be missed" Macaque said placing one in his mouth "you're spoiling him, you know that" Iron Fan said placing Red Boy down on the floor "but that's my job to spoil him, I am his uncle after all" Macaque said giving her a smirk "well then you wouldn't mind if I spoiled your child then" Iron Fan said smirking, Macaque let out a dramatic gasp "you wouldn't dare" Macaque said placing a hand on his chest playfully glaring at her "I would and I will" Iron Fan said smirking, then they bursted out laughing while Red Boy tried to get more red berries

Later, it was almost midnight and Macaque, Red Boy, and Princess Iron Fan were sitting on the roof with a plate of food and mooncakes while waiting for the fireworks to start, Macaques ears twitched as he listens carefully on the village "they began the countdown" Macaque said to Iron Fan "5...4...3...2...1" Macaque whispered and just like that fireworks lit up the sky in bright beautiful colors, Red Boy laughed happily as he sees the bright colorful flowers on the sky, Iron Fan smiled while her eyes held sadness wishing her husband could see this, and Macaque looked at the sky watching the fireworks lit up the sky with a smile 'Sun Wukong always loved fireworks' he thought placing a hand on his stomach his tail wagging gently
