Chapter 73

Rui peaks over as he spies on The Lady Bone Demon as she faces the furnace with blue symbols and a holographic mech 'something is not right' Rui thought as he walks away to another part of the lair just as the Bone Demon turns around to where Rui was. Rui walks deeper down in the lair in deep thought but he was brought out of his thoughts when he heard noise coming from a room that was covered by a torn curtain, he peaks over and saw Syntax with the Mayor "we really shouldn't be doing this, what if we get caught?" Syntax said looking away, the Mayor placed a hand under the spider demons chin and made Syntax look up "we won't, I promise" the Mayor said with a gentle smile and pulled the spider demon into a kiss, Syntax blushes and kiss back as he began to remove the Mayor's tie and suit jacket, the Mayor taking off Syntax jacket

Rui quietly turns away walking into another part of the lair thinking up a plan

"So what should we do next today?" MK asked walking next to Tang, the scholar hums as he thinks "well we could watch that new Monkey King movie that came out, and maybe the new outdoor court" Tang said smiling at his son. Today, MK and Tang were spending the day together doing fun activities together "are you sure Baba, aren't you still recovering from that roller coaster ride we went on?" MK said remembering how green his Baba's face turned and spent almost twenty minutes in the bathroom puking while MK held his braid back "I feel better now MK, really" Tang said smiling "okay, if you say so" MK said with a shrug still smiling as they head to the movie theaters

The two head inside MK could've sworn that he saw a hawk standing on top building staring down at him , but when he turn around the hawk wasn't there 'I could've sworn' MK thought raising an eyebrow "MK ,come on we're going to miss it" Tang called out, MK looked back to the building and went inside the theater. As they watched the movie the teen couldn't help but feel like he was being watched and would glance behind him from time to time,  by the time the movie was over MK still couldn't shake the feeling of being watched off him "MK is everything alright, you've been glancing behind your shoulder for almost the entire movie" Tang asked noticing his son's behavior "I just....feel like we're being watched Baba" MK looking at the scholar

"I'm sure it's probably nothing MK, maybe it's just-Whoa!!" Tang couldn't finish his sentence when a black van stops right in front of them "excus you, you nearly hit us!" Tang said angrily at the driver, then the van doors open and Cheng, Heng, and Feng hops out of the van "miss us Monkie Runt?" Cheng said smirking, he then jerked his head and Feng and Heng charged at Tang "no!" MK said standing in front of the scholar but was shoved away to the ground by Cheng as Heng and Feng grabbed Tang by the arms "no, let go of me!" Tang said thrashing trying to get out of the Huns hold "shut it!" Heng said punching the scholar in the gut winding Tang "Baba!!" MK said quickly standing up but then the same hawk swooped in and started attacking the teen as the two Hun gang members dragged the scholar into the van "MK!!" Tang called out as he was shoved into the van "Shan Yu invites you to a hearing, be there at midnight tonight, and don't even think about chickening out on us, the hawk will be watching" Cheng said getting into the van and the van drove off leaving but a cloud of smoke

MK finally shooed the hawk off him and stared at the direction the van went with his Baba "no...no" MK whispered eyes widened, he quickly got up and ran down the street to the direction of his Dadsy's noodle shop the hawk following behind him. When he reached the shop he was completely out of breath as he runs into the shop "Dadsy, Mei, Sandy, Red, Ma!" MK called out falling to his knees, everyone immediately went to the teen "kid what's wrong?" Pigsy said kneeling down to his son "your face, what happened?" Macaque said kneeling down to his cub cupping the teens face looking at the scratches on the teens face "Chen...Heng...Feng...they're back, and they took Baba" MK said catching his breath "What?!" Everyone said in shock "th-they came out of this van and dragged Baba in it, I tried to stop them but this hawk started attacking me" MK said Pigsy growls in anger "those no good punks!!!" Pigsy said his eyes bursting into flames "what else happened cub?" Macaque said looking at his son "th-they told me that I have a hearing with Shan Yu and to be there at midnight tonight" MK said
