My heart stops and I look at Yeonjun who looks back at me unwavering.
"Y-You do?" I croak out softly.
He smiles softly and says, "I do. I've loved you ever since the first time I saw you even if I didn't want to believe it. I accept you too. I accept all your flaws and shortcomings. I hope you accept me and mines as well. I love you and our baby so fucking much."
Tears, salty and wet, stream down my face. Yeonjun's words hit me like a bullet directly to the heart. He loves me....and he accepts me. This is all I've ever wanted. All I could ever ask for. I've loved Yeonjun....ever since I first laid eyes on him too. I just wasn't ready to put my all into a person again.
In the seven months that I've spent by his side I didn't realize that I was slowly falling more and more for the boy.
"Soobin!" I look over at Yeonjun and I see a bright flash before Yeonjun giggles devilishly. "Yah! What did you do?" Yeonjun smiles before saying, "Nothing. I was just taking a picture to show Santa what I want for Christmas." I roll my eyes and turn back to the TV but inside I'm a fluttering mess.
"He's so pretty," Yeonjun says while staring happily at our son on the screen. 'So are you,' I think.
I jerk awake with a gasp as the nightmare replays through my mind and I calm down my racing heart. I look over and see a peacefully sleeping Yeonjun, smiling in his sleep while holding his belly. "Soobin." Yeonjun's eyes are still closed and I think that I'm surely hearing things when I hear it again, "Soobin." Is he...dreaming about me?
I'm pouring some coffee for myself when I hear the sound of someone throwing up in the bathroom. Must be Yeonjun's morning sickness again. I go to the bathroom and ignore the smell as I rub his back comfortingly saying, "It's okay. Let it all out, Junnie."
Yeonjun laughs and spins with his arms spread out as snowflakes land softly on the ground and on him. The moon shines brightly and I can't help but take a picture of the picturesque moment. I smile as he turns to me and says, "Come on, Soobin!" Grabbing me by the hand, he leads me out into the cold and normally I would've complained but tonight I only have eyes for Yeonjun. My body may be cold....but my heart is burning.
I've been living in fear of falling in love for so long...the feeling of being in love is indescribable. It's like you're high on a drug and you can't feel anything but your mind is intact and everything is about them. Your world revolves around them, it hurts to be away from them, to see them in pain, and to be around anyone that isn't them.
I can almost see Wooyoung smiling at me from above as he says, "Go to him. You deserve to be happy again." So I gather all my emotions and then some and say to Choi Yeonjun, "I love you too. More than anything in this world."
Yeonjun smiles and our faces slowly inch forward until our breath's mingle with one another and our lips are only centimeters apart. I move forward and suddenly the space between us is gone and our lips connect.
Sparks erupt inside my heart as Yeonjun's lips mold against mine and he kisses me softly. Only tender love passing between us. His lips are better than what I could ever imagine, soft and plump. Time stills around us and it's only me and Yeonjun. I cup his cheek and this is one of the best feelings I've ever felt before.
We pull away from each other, flushed and breathing heavily because of oxygen loss. Yeonjun looks at me and smiles, I stand up and pull him into my arms. I've never been so happy in my life.
"I love you, Choi Soobin."
"I love you too, Choi Yeonjun."
I hear clapping and look up to see nearly the whole building has been watching from outside my office door. Yuzuru steps forward from the crowd and says, "That...was really fucking beautiful." He wipes away actual tears and pulls Soobin into a bear hug, "Good job, big bro."
"Thanks, Yuzuru." I say into his shoulder.
I pull away from the hug and grab Yeonjun by the hand before turning back to crowd and saying, "Everyone meet Choi Yeonjun, my boyfriend and father of my heir."
Everyone shouts happily and Yeonjun turns beet red from the uproar and attention he's getting.
