[Author's POV]

It was nearly 10 of the night when they both came back home. The ride was silent, but not in Arima's mind.

The whole ride, she kept thinking about her mother's words. She was finding them true yet, she was not able to decide clearly if she should really try to give this marriage a chance.

Give Andrius a chance...

The first thing that is stopping her is, that being with him would bring danger to her. Especially from his father.

On her first meeting with him, she knew that, between him and Andrius, there is nothing like a father-son relationship. It's pure enmity.

She also knew that his father, Lincoln was not a good person. His eyes on her were not good at all. They made her shiver.

"Butterfly..." She came out of her trance feeling him wrapping his hands around her waist from behind.

"Yeah?" Her focus was on him right now.

"What are you thinking?" Andrius asked looking at her with his charcoal eyes.

"Nothing..." She lied, but her lie did not sit well with him. He thought that she was hiding something.

"I want to sleep. I'm tired." Before he could say or ask her anything she pushed him softly and went inside the bathroom to get changed in her night clothes.

Andrius kept looking at her till she went inside the bathroom, with his narrowed eyes. He thought about her words and thought not to push her.

I want you to tell me by yourself, butterfly...

With that final thought, he left the room to get change in another room.

After 20 minutes, Arima came out of the bathroom while drying her hair. It took her a long time, because, she was still thinking about her talk with her mother.

Coming out of the bathroom, her eyes landed on Andrius who was half lying on the bed, with his palm under his head, shirtless.

At first, it was irritating for her that he would sleep shirtless, but, with time, she had gotten habitual with his habit.

Is he sleeping? This fast!

Arima thought seeing his eyes closed and relaxed position. She came near him and looked closely at him to get confirm her thought.

Looks like he is sleeping...

So, she first thought to dry her hair and then sleep on the couch. It's not like she is dying to sleep on the couch. She wants to sleep alone. All by herself.

In the night, not even for a second, Andrius would leave her out of his grip. And it was not likable to her.

Although, she still doesn't know how is she able to sleep in that position for the last one 1 and a half month.

When she turned around getting away from him to dry her wet hair, she felt her wrist get caught in a tight grip.

And within no second, she landed on his chest. She rubbed her nose, as it got bumped on his hard chest, leaving pain in it.

She looked up at him, finding him already looking at her with a smirk on his face. She huffed at his usual moves and tried to get up, but, again she was trapped under him as he turned their positions.

"Going somewhere, butterfly..." Deep eyes and husky tone, made her shiver, not in fear, but an unknown feeling. It was weird.

She removed her eyes away from him, looking aside. He just smiled and dipped his head in her neck making her stiff.
