Dumiretso ako sa loob ng sasakyan ni Yohan at hinihintay siyang pumasok.
As much as I want to go home alone, wala akong sasakyan. At saka, tinatamad akong maghintay pa ng taxi.
I saw him walking inside the car. Nang maupo siya ay agad niyang hinawakan ang kamay ko. Diretso lang ang aking tingin sa harap.
"I'm sor-"
"Umuwi na tayo," I cut him off.
Humugot siya ng malalim na hininga at pinaandar ang sasakyan. We were quiet the whe ride. Pansin ko ang paglingon lingon niya sa akin, aambang magsasalita pero piniling itikom ang bibig.
Nang makarating kami sa bahay ay nauna akong pumasok. He was silently walking behind me.
I opened the door, took off my heels, and walked towards the kitchen to get a glass of water.
I heard his steps towards me. I felt him hugging me from behind.
"I'm sorry. I'm just jealous. I won't do it again," masuyo niyang sabi.
I didn't mind him. Nang matapos uminom ay inilapag ko ang baso.
Sinubukan kong kumawala pero mas hinigpitan niya lang ang pagkakayakap sa akin. Sinubukan niyang halikan ang aking pisngi pero iniiwas ko sa kaniya ang aking mukha.
"Iris.."
"Iris, kausapin mo naman ako..
I didn't respond.
"Are you mad?" he asked.
"Obviously."
"I'm sorry..It won't happen again.."
"Dapat lang," I said. "If you ever hurt me the second time, I won't hesitate to leave you.."
I won't settle for less. I know my worth. Ayokong magaya sa nanay ko. Never.
"Yes..I'm sorry," he whispered.
I sighed. I faced him and hugged his waist.
"Natatakot ako. I'm afraid you'll become just like my father," I confessed what has been bothering me.
He kissed the op of my head.
"I won't, Iris. I promise I won't become like him," he muttered.
I nodded. Right.
He was far different from my father.
He will never become like my father.
He reheated the foods he cooked earlier. Sabay na kaming kumain dahil hindi raw siya kumakain hangga't hindi ako nakakauwi.
He presented to wash the dishes and I just let him be. He noticed my silence so he keeps glancing on me from time to time.
Hindi naman ako galit. I was just overthinking things.
"Iris.." he called my name.
Nakahiga na kami ngayon sa kama. Nakatalikod ako sa kaniya habang patuloy niya akong kinakausap.
He keeps pulling me to his arms.
"Hmm?" I asked.
"Are we..good?" he asked hesitantly.
"Yes."
He sighed. He wrapped his arms on my waist and whispered sweet things until we finally slept.
That morning, I was so excited. Ngayon ang kasi bibisita si Maura kasama ang kaniyang mag-ama. I miss that girl. Hindi ko pa nalalaman ang pangalan niya!
I took a bath, change my clothes and when I went to the sala, they were already there. We decided to eat breakfast so they came here early.
And of course, Yohan cooked.
"Good morning!" I greeted the three.
The girl walked towards me and kissed my cheek.
"What's your name?"
"Ireese po," maliit niyang sagot.
My eyes widened. "You named her after me?" I asked Maura.
"I was the one who gave her that name. I didn't have an idea that your name is Iris," her husband answered instead.
He walked towards me and extended his arms.
"Raven Fourth Allejo," pagpapakilala niya.
I shake his hand. Bigla akong napatigil nang may mapagtanto.

"Allejo?"
The Allejo's were well-known in the country. Well, they were families of businessmen and women, lawyers, doctors at kung ano ano pa. At isa pa, they were famous for always topping the bar!
"Ah, yeah.." gumuhit ang maliit na ngiti sa kaniyang labi.
We talked for a minute. Nagpaalam muna ako sandali at nagpunta sa kusina upang ihanda na ang mga pagkain.
"Morning," I walked towards Yohan and kissed his cheek.
He's already done preparing the foods. He wrapped his arms on my waist and planted a kiss on my lips.
"I love you.."
Pagkatapos ihanda ang mga pagkain, tinawagan na namin sina Maura. Sa harapan ko ay nakaupo ang mag-asawa, pinapagitnaan ang anak. Sa tabi ko naupo si Yohan.
Maura led a short prayer and we began eating after that. Ireese was a bit shy kaya I tried to entertain her.
Since it was a sunny day, we decided to swim on the swimming pool here. Mabuti na lang at naisipan kong magpagawa.
I made Maura wore my black bikini and I wore a read bikini. We walked towards the pool. Yohan, Raven and Ireese were just sitting at the lounge. They were talking while watching us. Nakakandong naman si Ireese sa kaniyang ama. Papa's girl.
"Yohan, right?" Maura asked when she saw me staring at Yohan.
"Yeah.." I smiled.
Lumapit siya sa akin. "Sigurado ka na sa kaniya?" tanong niya.
"Yeah," I answered. "I see my future with him. I can picture him as the father of my children."
I just hope...
We ate together when lunch came. Umalis din sila pagkatapos dahil may emergency sa hospital and they needed to be there. Sinabi kong babantayan ko nalang si Ireese pero may katulong naman daw sila sa bahay.
I waved at them as they walked away.
I felt Yohan hugging me from behind. His chin rested on my shoulder.
"Gusto ko rin ng baby..." nagulat ako sa biglaang sabi niya.
"Parang nanghihingi ka lng ng kendi, ah?" I arched a brow.
He chuckled. "I want us to take things slow but I just can't be at peace. Gusto na kitang pakasalan at itali sa akin."
Huminga ako nang malalim para pakalmahin ang pusong nagwawala.
"Pero alam kong hindi rin kita pwedeng itali. You are meant to fly free," dugtong niya.
"Thank you.."
"I love you.."
"Thank you.."
"Iris naman," he whinned.
"What?" natatawa kong tanong.
"Do you love me?" he asked.
I stayed silent.
I didn't know if I love him.
I couldn't say the three words...that I love him.
Maybe because my feelings for him was more deeper than love..
