Next morning
You wake up in your bed to a light snore you look beside you and sit dodger all cuddled up on your bed.
You used to have a rule no dogs on the bed, but dodger is to cute.
You hear the shower running so you know Chris taking a shower. Your plan was to wake up before him so you could make him breakfast before he leaves, but after last night you were a little exhausted and slept a bit longer then usual.
But while Chris was in bed you decided to make as much of a breakfast as you could.
You stated of by setting the table by placing spoons, forks, plates, bowls etc.
the. You chopped up some fruit to make a fresh fruit salad, made a few buttered toast. Now it was time for the pancakes.
You started by mixing all the dry ingredients then you see Chris walk out it the bathroom all dressed up in his airport fit.
A basic t-shirt with denim pants then obviously he had his sun glasses hanging on the neck of his shirt and he had his baseball cap.
"Morning handsome" you take out eggs from the fridge "I was gonna surprise you" you tell him
"Oh sorry" Chris walk up to you and taps a kiss on your lip, then slaps your ass as he walks over to get a glass of water.
"But know that you are here I could use a bit of help with the eggs" you tell him
"You still don't know how to crack an egg" Chris laughed as he cracks an egg in the pancake mix
"You know something I just don't want to learn" you start mixing the batter
"Where is dodger" Chris asks as he's finishing all his packing
"Sleeping on the are bed" you say as you flip the first pancake.
"I thought there were 'no dogs on the bed' rule" Chris reminds you
"Well things have changed" you say making the second pancake.
"Do you need any help" Chris walks behind you wrapping his arms around your waist
"No I'm almost done" you tell him. Chris doesn't let go of you "Okay maybe you could make some pesto egg with the toast" you tell Chris
"Dodger buddy come here bubba" Chris puts down the dog food "make sure you eat a lot, it's a long flight"
Chris starts making the pesto egg
Once everything was ready you and Chris sit down and eat.
"So what's the plan once I'm gone" Chris makes small talk
"Well I need to start on some paintings, and the house could use a clean" you tell Chris "what about you. What are your plans once you get to Boston"
"Work" he answers
"When is you flight again?" you take a spoon full of fruits
"12:50" he says "I'll leave after 30 minutes" Chris says
"Oh right.." you answer as you just play with your food "done packing everything?" you ask
"Yeah did it this morning"
You two have finally understood the fact that this will always be a long distance relationship. But now you will be here completely alone because Mario and Juliana are moving.
Everyone you know have moved away except for James, but things are to difficult with him.
"What's going on in that mind of yours" Chris asks while taking a sip of some orange juice
"Nothing" you answer
"I find that very hard to believe" Chris puts everything away and looks at you ready to hear what ever you have to say "tell me"
"Just thinking how long is this going to go on for" you say
"What do you mean?"
"Are we always going to be like this? There are steps to take in a relationship like move in together, or get a pet, or buy a house. Just something. What are we doing?" "We are stuck on the same place in this relationship" you say
"There's no pressure to take another step" Chris tells you "we don't need to think about the future, let's just enjoy what we have right now" Chris kisses you on the cheek "and I really don't want to think about all this right before I go, and you shouldn't either. You own a shop now and you have to think of what your going to do with it. Focus on that"
"Your right" you say
Chris looks at his watch "oh shit I have to get going" Chris quickly stands up
"Do you need help with this" he point at the table and all the dishes
"No I'll just do it later" you say
Chris takes all his stuff and opens the front door seeing his cab outside
The driver takes all of Chris stuff and puts it in the car then waits for Chris.
"So this is goodbye" you say
"Only for a little time" Chris hugs you
"You promise to call me when you land?" You whisper
"I'll call you before I take of and after I land, then I'll FaceTime you and we will have dinner together, after that I will FaceTime you until you fall asleep. I promise" Chris whispers back in your ear.
"You just made it harder for me to say goodbye" you two pull away from the hug
"Kiss me. Y/n y/l/n kiss me like it's our last kiss" Chris says to you. Something about him saying your name made you feel so special
You get on your toes and kiss him, you really kisses him like it was the last kiss.
