Sun dragged her white blanket to her stony bed as her Brother-Moon arrived with his billions of friends.Zahra shut her eyes irritated.she never liked the night sky. She slowly opened her eyes, only to witness the winking stars. Frustrated she chugged down her wine, her mood swings pulling her mind like puppet strings. Suddenly a soft warmth embraced her.
"It's past midnight princess.." whispered a voice..a very familiar voice.
She slowly turned back to see hands fixing the cloak around her. Her eyes found the way to his forest green ones, which mirrored peace.
"Is it morning for you?" She smirked.
He chuckled, finally fixing the cloak properly.
They turned to the sea,which glistened under the moonlight. Everything was calm,almost like a dream land. Cato sat at the ship's end, dangling his legs above the sea.
"So.." Zahra stepped closer,placing down her glass.
"So?"
"Why don't you drink?"
"You still remember that princess?"
"We don't meet people like this often"
'This' people exist too, your highness" Cato took the glass, swirling it between his fingers.
There was brief silence..which was broken by a splash noice.
The wine glass fell into the sea from Cato's hands,which immediately disappeared into the depths.
"Nice grip you have my crown prince " Zahra laughed.
"Since when was I your crown prince?"
"Since I made you my slave back in Awa' "
"You sure jest. I didn't know the sharp princess has other habits"
"I don't Jest...not now atleast" she looked him in eye.
'I-"
*Thud*
Cato pushed Zahra down, making her fall flat.
Adamant shook violently as a sharp tail ripped the ship's flag.
"Princess, GO!" Cato yelled
"You're shaking!" She retorted.
The tail sliced the foremast, making a huge noice. Ship crew came running,and the captain looked mortified.
"IT's CETUS" a voice cried, before the creature dragged him into the sea.
"Captain Hat take the princess to the hide!" Cato sent Zahra to him.
"You can't fight Alone you fool!" She screamed.
Cato took out the sharp ivory boomerang.
"I don't want others to be harmed for my sake!"
" And I don't want others to die on me!" Zahra pulled out her dagger.
"Let's fight together"
"Yes together "
"We don't have time for your silly speeches! Look! it's destroying my Adamant!" Captain Hat cried.
"Position the gun turrets!"
"Aye Aye Crown prince "
The CETUS grabbed another man's leg, dragging him.
"Help"
*Slash*
"This gaint worm" Zahra cursed wiping the blood from her cheek.
"Princess!" Her maid's cry was brushed off by her as she helped the man to his feet.
"Th-thankky-"
"Just go help others "
"Oo-okay your highness"
It was Chaos. Blood.Broken Bones.Broken Wood.Broken hopes.
They fired on the creature as Cato caused it injuries by using his boomerang.
It only added fuel to it's anger as it shook the ship violently.
Rain poured down with roaring thunder,which worsened the situation.
"Princess! Behind you "
*Grrighh*
"Ahhh!"
"CATOOOO"
with a loud splash,The crown prince fell into the sea with CETUS.
And then there was no sign of a creature,just rain washing away the blood,thee only evidence.
"No!"
"No no no no...."
"It can't be.."
"Princess..."
Without any hesitation,she jumped into the sea leaving everyone mortified.
