"Happy birthday Angel!" pagbati sa akin ni Gelo paglingon ko sa kanya. Nakaupo siya sa isang silya habang may hawak na gitara.

Wala. Wala akong naging reaksyon. Hindi ko nagawang gumalaw gawa nang matinding pagkagulat. Nakakainis ngunit nakakatuwa. Ewan. Hindi ko na alam kung ano ba itong emosyong nararamdaman ko.

Matapos sabihin ni Gelo ang mga salitang iyon ay nagsimula na niyang tugtugin ang isang pamilyar na kanta.
