The sun was slowly starting to set around New York, but that was when Peter liked it most, he was away from people and often found a way to escape from reality, he loved the other Avengers, and of course MJ and Ned too, but he just felt like he needed a break, just for a moment or two. The idea of skipping meals didn't seem like much to him at the time and it soon became a pattern which he became an expert in hiding, after all he hid the fact that he was Spider man for so long, what would be the difference with the idea of skipping meals, right?

The idea of doing patrol made him not think about when he was hungry, after all he had a high metabolism due to his powers so it didn't bother him too much. But this time? Something seemed different, he kept pushing, and pushing, jumping from building to building, trying to be involved with the neighborhood as much as he could, from grabbing cats that were stuck in trees, to saving an elderly lady who was getting robbed (who also gave me a churro, but I decided it was better for one of the stray dogs to have it instead, after all, I wasn't very interested), not for now anyway, or at least that's what I kept telling myself.

By this point, the stars were shining brightly in the sky and the moon was out, Peter checked his watch, in doing so he attempted to catch his breath, which strangely seemed more difficult. He looked down to notice his hands were shaking more than usual too, that and struggling to catch his breath made him panic, but he brushed it aside thinking it was just his anxiety playing up once again. He took one deep breath, before heading back "home". He quickly realized he'd been out for much longer than what he thought, but he was sure Tony wouldn't mind too much, after all, he knew about his secret powers, and how much he'd love patrols.

It wasn't long before Peter came through the doors, his mind was telling him to sit down because he started to see black spotting through his eyes, but once again, he ignored it, thinking it was nothing. Tony spotted him just as he was heading up to his room, so as usual, Peter smiled, and attempted to walk off, but not before being stopped. Tony took a deep breath before speaking (Peter knew something serious was to be discussed because Tony had a habit of sighing before hand, whether or not he knew that, he wasn't too sure). Steve was nearby too, which was normal, those two would spend so much time with each other now it was insane, but before Tony could even speak, Peter lost all sense of balance, and just collapsed to the floor. Tony in just as much shock as he was before, not saying a word, just quickly grasping the kid between the palm of his two hands, and sprinting to the med bay.

Bruce was working as usual, when doing his work he usually watched through the windows to see what the others were up to, but he just got an eerie sense that something didn't seem right today, but he just couldn't put his fingers on it. The door behind him quickly opened, he shrugged his shoulders and continued tidying up in the med bay, after all, there was always jobs for him to do, and he definitely knew that, being an avenger and all. "Tony, if that's you playing a..." he turned around to quickly realize that this was serious, at this point, the med bay was Peter's second home, but that wasn't a matter to discuss as of now, instead Bruce was led to tears by how frail Peter looked, he was as light as a feather, and as white as a ghost.

Bruce sighed, keeping the tears back as he focused on getting the kid better, he was the one keeping an eye on him, especially with Tony being busy at times with sorting out Avenger admin things, but how did he miss this? Was there a way Peter was avoiding eating that he wasn't aware of? It was at this point, he knew he had to stay focused, so he made sure to let Cap go off and make sure MJ & Ned didn't become worried, after all, those three were inseparable, and if they found out about this? Bruce just couldn't take it. He continued to work on Peter, putting an IV in his arm, and making sure to monitor his heart rate, Bruce would not rest until he could help fix Peter, he would not rest until he knew he was ok, Tony anxiously pacing around outside waiting for an update.

"Come on Pete...you've got this pal"
