It's a bit huge 3-storey establishment.

“KARAOKE! CHURUT CHURUT~” kanta ni Darlene habang sumasayaw. I breath deeply para habaan pa ang pasensya ko.

The sun is about to set but the bright lights from the karaoke bar lit up the street.

“Tara na!” tawag ni babae sa unahan. Sa lahat ng ayaw ko ay mga ganitong klaseng lugar.

“Life is short. Don't let your youth fleet without any thrill...” wika ni Paolo bago sumunod kay Darlene.

I entered and saw that the first floor is a japanese fast food.

“We've been in a japanese restaurant before, then here we are again...” reklamo ko nang makalapit ako sa kaniya.

“Samahan mo akong maghintay ng pagkain natin. Nasa taas na si Paolo...” she said, ignoring what I complained.

“Is this a karaoke bar? Did you break your skull again?” Naiirita kong tanong but she just shrug.

A lot of pairs of eyes are into me again, and some where into Darlene.

I'm just wearing a grey jacket with a hood, partnered with black pants and white sneakers. Simple one but kills.

Si Darlene naman nakasuot ng itim na blouse and a white skirt, with a white sneakers too. I just noticed now, mukha pa kaming nag usap sa damit.

The men's eyes were on her, because her white complexion highlights on her outfit. Kita rin ng bahagya ang makinis niyang likod at batok because her brown curly hair was ponytailed. Did she intend to let those guys fall head over heels on her?

Her face is attractive. She doesn't need to try so hard to get someone's attention. She can create a living just by her looks. An actress or a model... ang problema lang sa kanya ay ang height.

“Bakit titig na titig ka sa akin? Nagagandahan ka ano?” mayabang na pagkakatanong niya. I frowned and looked at her nonchalantly.

“Hindi ibig sabihin na nakatitig ako sayo ay nagagandahan na ako. Hindi ba pwedeng iniisip ko kung talaga bang naging successful ang evolution mo mula sa pagiging chimpanzee?” I said before I look away.

Agad siyang sumimangot at ngumuso bago ako talikuran. Mission accomplished.

It's not a bit long nang dumating na ang order ni babae. The one who served was a middle-aged woman. Hula ko'y may dugo siyang Hapon.

“Why is it that a young fair lady isn't smiling now?” Tanong niya, then her gazed directed on me at ngumiti ito ng malawak.

“Oh, sumimasen. Ikaw ba ang boyfriend niya? Pasensya na at iba ang napagkamalan ko kanina. You're a handsome lad, you two are a perfect match...” she said that made me feel anxious.

“No, you're mistake---” Naputol ang sasabihin ko nang sumingit si babae.

“Yes, he is. I'm just a bit upset because he said something that hurt my feelings” madramang pagkakasabi niya. My brows furrowed. What the hell is she saying?

“It's just fine. Love quarrels are normal. Don't be discouraged because arguments will help strengthen your relationship...” the woman advised.

...and quarrels in relationship is the most common reason why partners separate. Yeah, I know.

After I paid our foods in the counter ay agad na akong sumunod kay Darlene na pumasok sa elevator.
