Once back at the palace, the emperor took charge of preparing an honorable funeral for all those who gave their lives while fighting against the Grand Master.

All the deceased were buried in the cemetery of the Imperial Knights, where all the heroes who contributed to bringing peace and serenity within the empire rested.

A few days after the funeral, the royal family visited the cemetery with their friends to reminisce the memories they had with their deceased friends.

Standing in front of each of their graves, Arthur flashed a sad, nostalgic smile as he patted the gravestones gently.

“Each one of you was a hero in his own way... But your purpose was the same... Each of you left a special place in our hearts... You came up with joy in our life and left us with the sorrow... We all lost someone dear by losing you... Whether it's a father, a mother... A brother or a sister... A friend or a lover..."

Emery who was huddled against Elion's arms sobbed silently as she buried her face in his chest to hide her sorrowful sounds.

"But know that you will never be forgotten... You will always remain in our hearts and in our memories... Auvrovaria is once again a healthy and peaceful place to live... And this is thanks to you, my friends... You are our heroes... And we love you very much..."

On these words, each person that was present there put a flower on the grave of the person who was closest to them. The sky began to rain, as if it too mourned the death of these heroes.

Three months passed and summer finally came to invade the empire of Auvrovaria with its soft and warm rays of sunshine and its festive atmosphere. The sky was a beautiful blue while white clouds floated on it.

At the palace, the young captain of the Imperial Army and future emperor of Auvrovaria was sitting in his room, accompanied by his friends while discussing the preparations for his marriage with the young princess.

"I think Luana would prefer that we decorate the great hall with red and white roses. After all, roses are her favorite flowers," suggested the young man, very concentrated with a small notebook and a pen in his hand.

"Yeah, that's a very good idea in my opinion," Elion affirmed, nodding his head.

"There are still too many things to do and little time left...I'm completely stressed out," complained Lucas while rubbing his aching temples.

Seeing him like that, Matthew and Eric couldn't hold back their laughter any longer which surprised the young captain.

"Why are you laughing like that?" he asked in a bored tone.

"Nothing. It's just funny to see you so stressed out about your marriage with the princess. We've never seen you like this. Even when you were planning attacks for our missions, you weren't so stressed out," Eric replied, smiling mischievously.

"I bet you're a thousand times more nervous than the bride herself," Matthew teased, laughing out loud.

This remark made the young captain of the Imperial Army raise an eyebrow.

"Yeah, I'm nervous... But not so nervous to the point that I'll cry like a baby in front of all the guests when seeing my bride walk into the great hall in her wedding dress," he teased back.

"It was truly a historic moment. We're not going to forget it anytime soon," Roshua replied with tears in his eyes from laughing.

Indeed, Sir Carter and Azusa got married a month ago just like Eric and Mina. They had decided to organize a wedding together which made the event even more magical.
