Luffy x Merfolk Y/N "Are You In?"

Luffy POV

Man im really REALLY hungry right now....sheesh I wonder when will sanji finish cooking??

I started walking back and forth, Swing left to right and finally laying down under the bright Sun sulking and waiting for Sanji to call out for Lunch time

My stomach was already rumbling and Whining to Eat Meat right now!

I couldnt take it anymore and Yelled out "SANJIII WHEN IS THE FOOD COMING???!"

"In a Minute Luffy now Shut up and let me focus!" Sanji yelled back from the kitchen

I sighed and Grudgingly Lay down sulking more, Franky went outside to probably fix some whatcha-makolits or something like that when he went to my side with a frowned Look

"Hey Cap, Seems to me that your not being Suupperr today Huh?"

I shook my head lazily and with a raspy Reply "Nope, Im Hungry AND boreeedd!" Usopp Chuckled as he wiped off some sweat from his Head walking towards me and Franky

"Well why dont you go and take a Breezer on the sand Luffy? We just Landed on this Inhabitant island but im pretty sure You'll find something Interesting"

Hmm...now THAT might not be a bad idea..since im hella bored and sanji is taking so long to finish, might as well find something interesting to eat on this island!

I nodded and grinned "you know what, that might not be a bad idea! Hey chopper come with me we'll explore the Island!"

I called out to the reindeer who was Busy making some medicines and stuff, looked up to me with a confused face then it lit up

"Can we really?!"

I nodded and grinned wider, he Excitingly placed all his Things to its rightful place and cleaned up before following me down jumping to the sand i looked at Chopper and Smirked

"Ready??" He nodded and smiled With a Cheerful Face

"Ready!!"

We started to explore around chopper busied himself with checking out some new plants to discover while I kept on looking for some Foods to eat

"Hey Luffy check this out! These guys are really rare!"

Chopper called out excitingly Gesturing me to take a look at what he was holding i asked him what that is
Since it has these weird red sparkling glitters on it and is had eight petals also red which reminds me of blood

"I Think this is what they called Spider Lily-"

Chopper's sentence was cut off when some Splashes of the Wave caught our attention, we both looked at each other then towards the direction where we heard the sounds and it was coming from the Sea side

Without a second thought i quickly ran towards the Shore

"I wonder if its a Giant Crab or a Sea king!" I Grinned as I ran faster Chopper following behind me

Y/N POV

Oh no..oh no no no no! Someone saw me! barnickles damn it! I have to get away from this place quickly!-

"Hey! Its a Girl!"

Some Racoon dog pointed at me while the boy with the red Vest just stared at me

I reluctantly went deeper to the sea but he quickly pulled me out and before i knew it..I was flying in the air AND to the Ground

"Luffy! Please be Gentle and Careful with her!"

The Racoon dog scolded the Guy with a Straw Hat who was only grinning while his Companion scolded him

He looked at me and Grinned ear to ear more wider "Sorry about that the names Monkey D. Luffy by the way! Nice to meet ya!"

He grabbed my hand and shaked it

Huh....at least they have manners?...but i still have to be careful though..

I sheepishly smiled at the Boy and his companion who said his name was Chopper, They told me a little bit about them when the three of us sat down and had a little chat

"Oh so wait..you guys are pirates??..but like..the good bunch?"

They both nodded and hummed in response "but it also depends on the people we encounter"

Huh...i guess their right...If its other Pirates then maybe a Friend..or a Foe..but if its a Marine? Then thats another story

After a while they got curios about me and i got confused when Luffy looked down at me with his eyes almost buldging out from his eye sockets

His Jaw dropped confused as hell while chopper just Face-palmed amd deadpanned looking at Luffy

I asked what was Wrong and Chopper replied with a sigh

"Well...I guess you can say that..Luffy here hasnt noticed your Tail up until..Now"

I turned towards luffy whom was still surprised, chuckling i placed his Jaw back up again

"...Wait a moment..THAT FISH IS EATING YOU UP?!"

"What? No wait this is a part of m-"

I had no time to explain when Luffy suddenly pulled me up and started to Stretch and Pull me away from my lower half

Chopper on the other hand started to panic and Smacked his Captain's Head yelling at him

"Idiot Luffy!! That Tail is a Part of her Body! She is a Mermaid so dont pull her like that!"

Luffy looked up while rubbing his Head and asked him why

"Be-CAUSE! that is really painful! Imagine your skin getting peeled off!"

The three of us shuddered at the thought and Luffy finally understood and Turned towards me bowing "Im sorry Y/N"

I laughed and patted his Back saying its alright

He looked up again and Smirked before asking "Hey Can you Sing or Fight?"

Im not sure why he asked that kind of question but i just shrugged and replied "Well..Both actually why want me to join in your crew or something?"  I jokingly said while Chopper at the side nervously gulped and chuckled

"Yeah! Join my Crew! the more the merrier!!"

"Hah I kne- Wait What? Hey you know i was only joking right?"

He snickered and laughed before Replying "But I wasnt! Now Join my Crew!"

Its more like a demand to be honest but oh well

Chopper sighed and shooked his head "once he made up something nothing can really change his mind"

I chuckled agreeing with Chopper

"figured as much"

Luffy went up and pulled my hand while he carried Chopper

"Then Come on! My Crew would be very Happy to Meet you!"

"Hey are you sure its this Easy to Let me Join??"

He turned and Grinned giving out his Laugh again

"Yeah why not? You'd be a great Singer and Fighter! I'll teach you how to sing Binks sake too! And you can help us devil fruit users whenever we fell down to the ocean right? Since your a Fish and all"

I chuckled at his Statement although yes he does have a point I just dont get as to why he would let a Stranger into his Ship

"Sooo You in??" He asked still Smiling boyishly at me tilting his head to the side, I smiled and Laughed

"Yeah sure thing...Captain!"
