Y/N POV

"Master Caesar where are you??"

I knocked on the door before entering bringing the documents that the master needed

I saw him at the corner pouring some chemicals to the test tube and mixing up more experiments

"Bring it to the table over there"

He ordered I did as what he said and placed it on his table before bowing and bid my farewell to him

Just as I was about to exit to the door I bumped into a peculiar lime green hair woman

it was none other than Monet herself, the woman who started to hit on me for the passing months already..

She was taller than me so she hovered and looked down and gave me a smile that says something else

It was giving me butterflies in my stomach but I don't really know if it's a good or a bad sign..

"My~ be careful where you step dear I wouldn't want you to get hurt"

Monet winked and stepped aside to let me pass through, me on the other hand speechless and too stunned to speak suddenly felt my cheeks turn red

The moment Master Caesar groaned and clicked his tongue that's when I realized that I snapped back to reality

"Would you two quit flirting right in front of me??" He frowned and turned to his human form wrinkles never leaving his grumpy pale face

Monet only shrugged and chuckled giving Master Caesar an innocent smile

"Whatever do you mean master?" She asked

Master Caesar turned away and ignored Monet continuing his experiment

"Go flirt somewhere else you fools"

"Right away sir~"

She pulled me out from the lab and gently grabbed my hand tangling it into hers

Is she taking her flirting with me to the next level?!-

We reached the living room where the surgeon of death was sitting on the corner eyeing us with his silver grey eyes

Without saying anything he must have knew the situation and immediately stand up grabbing his sword and walked pass us

"Oh My~ aren't you a good boy Law-san" Monet joked while Law snickered giving us his death stare

"I would have normally say to go flirt somewhere else but I have some things to discuss with Caesar either way so do what you want." he walked out and closed the door behind us

After everyone was out of the way Monet went to hug me at the front and kissed my cheeks

"You've been quiet for a while now Y/N are you alright dearest?" She asked
I shook my head denying.

"N-No I'm completely fine-" I tried to finish my sentence but she immediately tighten her hug and nuzzled her face deep down to my neck causing me to get flustered more

"Are you really sure~??"

"Yes, you are just a tease Monet" I joked which made her giggle and laugh pinching my cheeks, even with a flustered face I can still tease her even by just a little bit

"You're truly adorable my lovely~ it's such a shame that you never made any first move on me, I really wanted to ruin our friendship and replace it with something more~"

Monet fake pouted, I avoided her eye contact on me as I nervously chuckled rubbing the back of my head

"N-No it's just...I don't flirt" sheepishly I looked away yet she kept on bugging me and clinged to me

"Why not~?? It's fun to flirt~" she cooed still glued to my body

I raised an eye brow looking at her with a confused face

"So you mean to tell me your flirting with someone else too aside from me?" I asked trying to hold my giggles attempting to be mad

She was suddenly taken back by what I said and suddenly stuttered

"What?- N-No of course not, I only have interest in you not the others"

I sighed and shakes my head, now it was my turn to pinch her cheeks

"I know." I bluntly answered to continue to tease her

Her eyes widened with shock for a few moments before she turned back to neutral expression

"If so then why did you-"

"It was meant to tease you Monet, I just wanted to see how YOU would react if I were to do that to you~"

Smirking and feeling proud that I won this time, I crossed my arms folding it and chuckling

She was confused for a moment until she realized that I was messing around with her

"You......ha.....what am I going to do with you my lovely" Monet sighed in relief and giggled

"When did you even start liking me anyways? We've been best friends for years what's got into you that you started having this crush on me?"

I asked as Monet just sighed and sat down relaxing her tense muscles she smiled

"I honestly don't know, all I know is that I want you to be mine forever, I dont want that Trafalgar Law, Vergo and not even Master Caesar can steal you away from me~"

Deadpanned and stared at her bluntly I sighed hopelessly and sat down to the couch

As I sat down I took off my artificial leg that was made by Master Caesar placing it to the side since my amputated leg was starting to get itchy

Monet sat down beside me and helped me massage my Amputated leg

"Y/N...I would do whatever it takes to make sure your safe from harm, to be honest my intentions were pure from the start...I truly wanted to help you

But as time passes by...my feelings started to grow and grow for you that I myself can't even stop it even if I wanted to"

She averted my eyes for a moment then looked back at me once more with a smile on her face

"So please??....would you be willing to give me a chance? I promise I'll make it worth it"

"I dont know Monet..... would you be willing to wait for me??...."

I hesitantly asked, Monet although with little hope lights up and happily nodded her wings started to grow and flaps

She nodded and smiled hugging me and kissing my face

"Hey-! I didn't say-"

"I know~ but...that is enough for me, thank you for taking consideration Y/N"

I sighed and laughed kissing her forehead

"So...is our friendship ruined now?"
I asked, Monet looked at me with her tender smile still on her face

"Well~ I guess we can have both our friendship and romantic relationship all together right~?"

"Yeah, you got a good point"
