Prospero POV

Today is such a fine day torturing low pathetic pirates who dares try to steal Mama's treasures

I was walking on my way back to our head quarters to report the happenings to Mama per usual

"Mamama! Wonderful! Job well done Perospero"

Delighted with Mama's reaction and compliment I smiled and bowed excusing myself and went back to my own home

upon entering in I was greeted by the gaurds, maids and other staff members inside

But for some reason...

I couldn't find my darling little Candy wife, so I asked the maids where she went off to

"She went off to seashore Perospero-sama although we do not know why, she wouldn't answer"

Clicking my tongue and sighed I walked out again in search for her

Where on earth could you have gone off to this time Little Candy floss

I searched every corner and held a search party the moment I realized she wasn't anywhere near here

"Search for my wife don't you dare come back empty handed or I will kill all of you!" I threatened feeling anxious when Y/N was no where to be seen

"Damn it Y/N...where on heaven and earth are you???"

Y/N POV

"Y/N-sama where are you heading off to??" One of the maids asked me as I grabbed my bag and hat going to the front door

I turned around and replied "just somewhere I won't go far dear"

walking along in a comfortable silence was my serotonin and calmness of the breeze makes me forget all of the problems life has been giving me

"Arranged marriage.....it's been a year since we got married" I chuckled bitterly and sat down on a giant rock looking at the horizon as the sun slowly goes down

Since the rock was big enough I decided to lay on my side and dozed off for a moment

A little nap wouldn't hurt...

"Y/N!!.....Y/N!! Wake up!"

I yawned and stretched out my arms sitting up until I felt my whole body being shaken like a maraca

"Y/N! Where did you go?! Everybody was looking for you and Perosu-nii is furious and worried sick about you!"

It was Brulee whom was yelling In panic and relief at the same time

I asked her what happened while I was gone and she just flicked my forehead

"Idiot! That's exactly the reason why we searched for you, it's because you were gone! For two hours already!"

Brulee cried crocodile tears and hugged my tighter than before

"Don't make us worry like that again!" She cried out I sighed and chuckled patting her head and apologized for not telling anyone about my location

We decided to go back home after I finished cleaning up my art supplies

"You know your lucky none of us told Mama that you went missing or she would have rampaged" she sighed

I awkwardly rubbed the back of my neck and apologized again

Not a moment had passed and I already saw Perospero and half of his siblings behind him

"See Perospero? She is safe and unharmed your just being way too overdramatic saying that she is gone for good!" Oven scolded his older brother and sighed irritatingly

"She seems unharmed as well...which means no one kidnapped her nor attacked her" Katakuri hummed and turned away

"We're done with the search parties now, everyone to back to the mansion and pretend none of this happened in front of Mama"

We all nodded and silently went back inside after Katakuri gave out his orders

"Where were you Perorin??"

I looked up as he was taller than me I shrugged and sighed

"I was just looking for some fresh air and took a nap is that wrong?" I asked as he just chuckled bitterly

"Perorin- You do realized that we have a bed for a reason right??" He retorted
I glared at him and turned away

"It's nothing compared to the calmness the sea gives me" I reasoned and stayed silent for a short while

After answering his question he stayed silent as well silently surprised by what I said

"Kukuku~ I knew there was a reason why I was very fond of you beforehand Perorin~"

I looked at him again finding him smirk

"You have a high spirit, someone like you are obviously suitable for someone like me Perorin~"

Raising an eye brow I tilted my head to the side with a confused expression

"And what exactly does that mean??" I asked and he replied back with another smirk except this time

His eyes were genuine

"Mama was right about your soul, it's very bright and powerful maybe that is why you amaze me with your nobility and honor perorin~"

"Flattery will get you no where my dear husband" I snickered and took off my jacket and placed it on the hanger

"Kukuku~ finally warming up to me Little Candy floss~??"

I scoffed in amusement and crossed my arms raising an eye brow at him

"In your dreams tongue twister"

I went back to rearranging my books on the shelf and cleaned off some of the dirt from it before I broke off the silence a moment afterwards

"So...I heard...you were worried about me?" I turned around hoping to hear an answer from him

he was just there sitting on a chair observing my every move and stared into my eyes for a long moment

standing up he walked closer towards me and carried me before he tightly embraced my body colliding into his own

since the man was too tall he had to carry me all the time whenever we hug or cuddle

"Of course I was worried sick....you ..surprisingly...mean everything to me Perorin"

I didn't move for a minute and just let my body relax on its own melting into his touch and leaned in on his shoulder

"Surprisingly......me too..." I replied back, I can feel the vibration from his chest when he chuckled

"Your heartbeat is pumping faster than normal little Candy floss~" he teased

I sighed and looked up at him into his eyes

"Of course this always happens whenever I'm this close to you, you fool"

He laughed and hugged me tenderly while he sat down on the chair and me on his lap

"Kukuku~! You have always been the fiesty one my dearest wife perorin~"

I replied back snickering and scoffed in amusement

"And you have always been the foolish one Peros"

"This may be a Fake and arranged marriage....but ...I know our love will always be true Perorin~" for once he got serious and rests his chin on top of my head

"This might be one of the few times I will get to agree with your overly confident behavior Perospero"
