Y/N POV

Observing the sky and it's horizon I took a deep breath and exhaled it out relaxing my body to the sound of the ocean waves and the wind blowing

Feeling footsteps getting louder and getting closer I already knew who it was

closing my eyes I smiled and spoke up
"Ace my son do you need anything?"

Ace awkwardly scratched the back of his head and looked away hesitating whether he should speak up or not

I chuckled at the nervous sight of my son and slowly walked closer to him
I had to kneel just so I could pat his head due to my abnormal heights

Ace only reaches around my lower hips, some even mentioned that my ancestors might have come from Elbaf, home of giants

"Now what is it my boy?? Having a hard time confessing something?"

He slowly nodded without look at me straight in the eyes

"I-I wanted to ..tell you...and Pops about .. something..I wanted to talk to him first in private earlier but..he said he won't discuss this matter if you weren't there"

That is to be expected from him, he always wanted to keep me by his side at all times

Edward really trusts me with all his life and for that I'am truly thankful to have such a wonderful husband as him

I giggled and ruffled Ace's hair standing up and wiping away the dust from my knee

"Well then we better get going, don't want your father to wait too long" I chuckled and continued our way to his bedroom

I knocked on the door and opened it the moment I heard "come in"

Closing the door, locking it and covering up the windows I sat down to the edge of Edwards bed ready to listen to Ace and the same goes for Edward

Ace took a deep breath and started to confess

"Pops....Mama...I....I have to tell you something..but please don't ever hate me for this! I swear I'm not a bad person like him!-"

"Sweetheart...are you talking about....the Pirate king?" I reluctantly asked causing for Ace and my husband go silent and stared at me in shock and disbelief

"M-Mama.....do you...know Him?" Ace hesitantly asked with his shakey voice

"My Dear are you sure this is a good idea to tell him?" Edward asked with a frown on his head and concerned expression

I looked up towards my Husband and smiled confidently nodding my head
With one look Edward already knew what I meant and nodded

My husband patted my back to encourage me to keep on talking

"Forgive me for disturbing your story my son but.. before I tell you my part can you please continue yours first?" I asked as Ace slowly nodded his head

"Y-Yes...of course Mama"

I nodded and mumbled a thank you to my son and let him continue with his story
