Y/N POV

Today is one of our special day throughout the years as today is our anniversary

And we decided to go out and eat dinner in a small little restaurant

It seriously has been so many years ever since we first met huh...time flies so fast it just seems like we were still kids playing around at Captain Rogers Ship

My day dreaming was cut off by a knock on the door which turns out to be my one and only Lover the red-haired Shanks leaning at the side of the door frame

Chuckling to myself at how he has to duck to enter in since he is too tall, I walked up to him and fixed his tie

"You should really learn how to fix this tie Shanks other wise I would have to do this for you every single time" I laughed and wiped off some dirt off his polo shirt

He laughed along with me and looked down giving me one of his boyish smiles of all time.

"I mean hey if that means I'd get to have an excuse for you to be extra. Spicy close to me...why should I learn to fix it~??" He leaned in closely to my ears and teasingly blowed my nose

I helped in surprised and covered my ears as he stepped back chuckling at the sight of me shading hundreds of layers of red blush across my cheeks

"Oh stop being such a tease you idiot, come on let's go before sun goes down before us"

Shanks grabbed my hand and swayed it along the air as we walked in a very peaceful and small alleyway

further away we can see a glimpse of a small restaurant from up ahead meaning that we are almost there.

Once we reached our final destination we went inside to our reserved table,
It wasn't a fancy restaurant it was similar to a tavern or that baratie floating restaurant my friend showed me at

It was a tender and calming atmosphere until some jerks decided to ruin our night

"Fufufufu~ well well well~ I see some interesting faces around here~"

I sighed and rubbed my head the moment I saw that man's annoying smuged face while Shanks remained silent

"What the hell do you want ya damn Flamingo??" I glared at the tall lanky ass guy and who did nothing but smile towards my direction

"Tsk tsk such a fiesty attitude Y/N you never changed~"

As Doflamingo got closer to me and was about to touch my hair I saw Shanks pointing his sword towards Doflamingo's lower jaw

He was dead silent since earlier and when he does that it just meant trouble to those who clicked his buttons

And that Flamingo guy tested out Shanks patience today as he gave out his death glare towards the Flamingo
Silently killing him with his sword

Doflamingo clicked his tongue and took his leave lazily waved up his hands giving up and left the restaurant

"Hmph your no fun Red-Hair guess I will have to mess with you some other time Y/N~ farewell for now fufufu~"

Everyone can feel the tension between these two warlords of the seven sea and soon felt relieved the moment it breaks away

I sighed in relief as well as I grabbed Shanks hand firmly pulling him out to the exit

"I think we had enough drama for today we don't want to encounter another warlord here" chuckling to myself I guided Shanks away from the crowd and he still remained silent

We kept on walking to who knows where until Shanks spoke out

"I'm sorry I ruined our date Y/N..I just..I hated the way he stares at you like that I know you two were former partners before but that was a long time ago and-"

I smooched his lips to stop him from rambling on and on I giggled at the sight of him blushing his face has now matched his glowing red hair

Shanks froze for a moment before covering his lips with his hand chuckling with a deep raspy voice

"Damn it Y/N..you really do know how to calm me down don't you~??"

I raised an eye brow and smirked poking his nose and lips

"Of course I do silly~ I've known you ever since we worn those diapers as babies"

We both laughed at that sentence of mine recalling our good old times at Captain Rogers ship it has been more than 22 years since then..

"Since our night was greatly ruined by some bastard how about we just spend our time together at home~?"

Shanks wiggled his eye brow and smirked I laughed and smiled shrugging my shoulders

"I mean sure why not~?"

After we got home we changed to our pajamas and prepared foods and drinks for our little movie night instead

"This is way better than going to that restaurant anyways No one will be able to disturb us" Shanks sighed and melted to my arms as I did to his as well.

We watched three movies in one setting one Romance, Action and Comedy 

Shanks was right this is way better being together with him cuddling on our sofa, Yup this hits the spot.

He snakes his arms around my waist while I leaned in and kept on eating our snacks while we watch the movie

"Hey Y/N??" I looked up at him and hummed in response he looked down at me and gave me a warm loving smile

"I love you"

"Saying that out of no where...dumbass" I looked away with a red blushed face as he laughed out loud

"Aww~ is my little darling getting all shy on me~??"

I playfully rolled my eyes and smacked his torso awake from me

"Yeah Yeah very funny.....Love you too you moron"

I can feel him smirking and he was quick to pull me back and into his lap burying his head at the crook of my neck

"Hey..how about we go out tomorrow BUT instead of that lousy restaurant..let's just go to the Bar"

I sighed and chuckled as I keep on patting his head "Fine but only if it's Shakky's Bar" I replied

Shanks smiled and grinned like a little boy nodding his head and kissed my lips

"Deal~"
