Y/N POV

It was my day off from the office so I decided to aimlessly walk around town seeing if something catches my eye

With a couple of food I bought to make dinner I didn't even realize Tashigi was already in front of me

"Commander Y/N! Please listen this is an emergency!"

She grabbed both of my shoulders panting and exhausted from running

I frowned and asked her to sit down but she shakes her head aggressively panicking and sweating

"I-Its Smoker-san!! He-"

Smoker POV

....That Damn Woman tch ....I should have known she would hit me sooner than later

Having the ability to turn me back to a child

And escaping from me...how foolish of me..a disgrace

No one can know especially Y/N-

"Smoker-san! I brought Commander Y/N with me!-"

Before I could even process Tashigi opened the door and pushed Y/N in closing the door behind her

"T-Tashigi you fool! Why did you bring Y/N here?!" I panicked

Y/N on the other hand was standing right there speechless, I quickly avoided her eyes looking down on the floor

"I'm sorry Captain but...Y/N is the only one that can help you with this situation!"

"I may not be an expert but I'll give it a shot, it may take a couple of hours though.." Y/N muttered

I sighed and ruffled my hair and groaned

"Fine....I'll wait but this stays between us you two got it.?"

The two soldiers saluted and nodded their head

"Yes sir!"

I trust Y/N will be able to find the cure she is a doctor after all, trained by one of the most dangerous doctors in the grandline

So I shouldn't be surprised by their skills

"Don't worry Smokey I'll make the cure for you in no time so stay still"

I cringed at the nickname feeling my cheeks burn bright red

She used to call me that all the time when we were little brats all those years ago...and as of till today..

She never changes...ever

At some point it makes me feel relieved and glad that she didn't, because....

I love her just the way she is—

Wait.....WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT SMOKER?! GET IT TOGETHER SHE IS YOUR FRIEND FOR PETE'S SAKE!

"Hey..are you alright Smokey?? You suddenly turned red did you catch a fever?"

Y/N placed her hand on my forehead, at that moment I had to calm down but I was internally panicking
