Nami POV

"Hey Nami! Where are we heading next?? I'm starting to get low on supplies for the ship" Franky went besidee as I checked through our log pose

"In a couple of hours there might be a town up ahead we can get our supplies there" I grinned as Franky smiled and went to tell everyone the news much to our Captains joy

"Yes!! Food!!" Luffy happily cried out

Chuckling to myself how they are such a handful I shooked my head

"Having a hard time with them Nami?"

I heard a deep voice and looked behind me only to find Y/N and waved at him

"Y/N where have you been? Usopp and Franky were looking for you earlier to show you their new inventions"

Y/N chuckled and went beside me "I'll go check up on them later right now I just wanna make sure your doing alright"

Y/N enough with that foolishness! You jerk how can you be this handsome-

I coughed and focused on looking at our log pose ignoring the fact that Y/N made my cheeks go flushed red

As annoying as it is to admit yes ...I do have a little crush on the guy

Franky and the others must have noticed it and started smirking

Ughh ....here we go again

"Oiii Nami! How is it going over there?? Ya having fun with Y/N??"

Franky waved in a teasing manner and so did Usopp

"Y/N! Ya better be taking care of Nami or Sanji will come after you~!!" Usopp wiggled his eye brow causing Y/N to tilt his head and get confused or their behavior

"What are you guys doing?" He asked chuckling amused of the sight of the two knuckleheads who are about to receive a fist on their heads

"Ara~ if it isn't Y/N-kun and Nami"

We heard a giggle and my god I already knew where THAT came from

I looked behind us only to find Robin sprinkling her flowers with water while giving us an innocent smile

Jeez! Ever since I admitted that I have a crush on Y/N only a little bit mind you!

The others just wouldn't stop pestering me about it

And it's starting to get irritating and gets on my nerves every single time

"Hey uhm Nami??...."

Ughh what did I even like that idiot anyway?? It's not like there is something special about him!

"Uhm....Nami?-"

When did this Crushing thingy started?!-

"Nami! Hey you okay?? You've been spacing out for a couple of minutes"

I shooked my head and got back to reality seeing Y/N waving his hand on my face

turning bright red and don't know what to do I turned away and clicked my tongue

"N-Nothing...it's just...our crewmates have been annoying me for the passing days already" I mumbled and irritatingly sighed ruffling my hair

"Hey...I'm sure they didn't mean any harm?-"

"Ugh! Why can't you just understand what they have been doing for the passing days?! Are you always this dense and oblivious or have you been pretending and ignored my feelings for YOU?!"

Just then I realized that I sprouted everything out and realized what I have done

Everyone was silent in shock and stared at me jaw dropped while Y/N was too stunned to speak as well

Shit!....why the hell did I say all of that?!

Y/N POV

W-Wait....why did my heart started to flutter and beat faster than it ever had before??....

Was it...because I have always liked her??....I mean I asked Usopp and Franky about this and well..

They did mention about liking a specific someone

Of course I couldn't dare to ask Sanji about Nami, he would just kill me for that so I asked Usopp and Franky instead

Everything they mentioned back then...

It's all happening to me at once right at this moment

It hurts yet I feel happy...

I slowly went closer to Nami and hugged her tightly

"Y-Y/N??..W-What are you-?!"

She was turning red as a tomato when I hugged her and to be honest I too did turn red at the time

At first she was tense and so was I but later on we started relaxing

She then hugged me tighter than ever before

"Uhh guys it's better if we leave these two alone for now" Usopp suggested and everyone agrees as Robin pulled the sleeping Zoro and Chopper to the other side

Whilst Usopp and Franky continued their projects inside their room while Jinbei and Brook went to the other side of the ship and Luffy well..was...

Being Luffy and ate all of the meat Sanji cooked

Only to leave me and Nami all alone it was a few minutes of silence before she opened her mouth again

"W-Well?? Do you even like me or not Y/N?? Because if not then I'll just have to take my leave-"

She gave me her cute death glares of a little cat, I chuckled and patted her head and immediately replied

"I love you Nami"

I smiled a genuine one and that made Nami go silent and completely blush in front of me

"L-Love....Me??..." She mumbled with a flustered face I nodded and grinned

"It's not a joke nor a trap, it's real Nami and I know you know that" I chuckled and kissed her forehead

"Can you not with the affection?!-" she cried out still with a flustered face

Laughing my ass out I patted her back and winked at her

"Nah you'll just have to deal with me with something like affections" I giggled and chuckled

She sighed and laughed out herself shaking her head

"I guess I couldn't but.....Y/N??..."

I turned around and asked "hmm yes what is it??"

She slowly kissed me on the lips before grinning and running away from me before she gets in trouble

"Catch me If ya can!" she yelled out with a red face still running away from me

"Haha! I'll get you for that later!"

Ahh....I guess I really do love that devilish cat burglar of ours huh

I will always be there beside you Nami and I promise to protect you at any cost just like what Bellemare would do
