Haruta POV

"The battle shall soon begin, Y/N my child are you certain you want to join in with us at war?"

"Yes Pops I'm certain. I'm ready whatever may be"

Pops and Y/N were having their conversation outside while I was trying to pass by I overheard them for a while before deciding to walk away not wanting to be nosy

I walked to the left side of the corridor and it led me to the kitchen door with Marco inside eating dinner

He looked up from his plate and raised an eyebrow at me

"Something bothering ya Haruta??" He asked

Shaking my head I pretend to not hear a thing back in Pops room and just smiled at Marco

I sat down beside him and grabbed an apple from the basket to eat it

"It's just...will everyone join in the fight? Even the ladies?"

Marco laughed and shaked his head no "of course not-yoi, pops will send all the nurses back to their hometowns no females will ever join this fight except to those he formed alliance with; pops wouldn't allow it"

Looking down I mumbled with a frowned face

"Except Y/N"..

"Hah? What do you mean by that-yoi? Pops would never send Y/N out there! He'll probably send her to somewhere safe away from the marineford"

I looked up at Marco and shooked my head the frown on my face remained

"No, Marco. I heard....just earlier I overheard her conversation with pops....I don't know how but she..."

"She managed to convince him huh..that girl really knows her way around words" Marco chuckled

"That's exactly why it's so dangerous for her to be joining us at the war of saving Ace! She always gets herself into trouble just like him and I worry that she might get herself-"

"I will NOT be killed Haruta."

I was cut off flinching when I heard her voice, I turned around and saw Y/N crossing her arms and leans on the door frame

Marco held his two hands up and stands rushing towards the exit patting my shoulder

"You're on your own with this one-Yoi good luck Haruta"

"Oi you bastard! Get back here!" I cried out but Y/N pinched my ears causing me to Yelp

"Don't think you can get away from me this time Haru! You don't think I can stand on my own? I've grown stronger over the years ya know!"

She scoffed and angerly pinched my cheeks this time, she sighed before letting me go

"Y/N...it's not like that I...just don't want you to get hurt or...worst..."

I said looking away from her while scratching my neck, I felt her hands gently cupping my cheeks this time making me face her

"Haruta...I'm not going to die I'm gonna join in the fight to save our brother, I want to help. Please....let me do it..I owe Ace so much..I wanna repay him back somehow!"
