Shravan & Ganesh Puja [One Shot]

Karan's mumma (KM) & Omi were sitting in the living room.... Karan came downstairs & wished good morning to his mother & gave a side hug to her.... He also greeted Omi.

KD- Sunny aa ja nasta kar le... tera fav idli sambar banaya hai.

Karan- yayy!!! Thank you Mumma... You are the best.

KD- Acha Sunny bta lunch mei kya khayega... Soch rahi hun Manish (Their cook) ko bol k chicken mangau & butter chicken banau tere liye.

Karan- nahi mumma chicken nahi... mei veg khaunga.... wo Shravan chal raha hai na

KD & Omi looked at Karan with widened eyes as if he has grown two horns on his head & looks like an alien... Omi who was sitting on the couch fidgeting his phone turned back & looked towards Karan with his mouth open.... Both were hell shocked.

Karan- What!!!😒 (asked nonchalantly)

Omi- bhai apki tabiyat toh thk hai na ? Aap kab se Shravan manne lage (He started laughing loudly)

Karan glared at him.

KD- beta ye achanak tune kese socha ? Isse pehle toh kabhi v nahi kiya tune

Karan- wo mumma, Laddoo manti hai har saal so maine socha mei v manu uss k sath... waise v wo veg khayegi aur mei uske samne non veg khaunga toh mujhe acha nahi lagega.

Omi- Pyar ka chakar babu bhaiyaaa... ooo sorry!!! Pyar ka chakar aunty😋

Karan- I swear Omi abhi sidha chapal hi ayegi tere muh pe agar tu chup nahi betha toh😒

Omi chuckled & kept his finger on his mouth.

KD- Sunny tu non veg k bina 1 month reh payega ??? Waise toh tujhse hafte k 2din v raha nahi jata... shoot pe kabhi kabhi thursday ko v chicken kha leta hai... ab 1mahina kese katega ???

Karan- ho jayega mumma... aap tension mat lo.... Mujhe acha lagta hai har ritual Laddoo k sath karna🥰

Post packup, they both went to a restaurant for dinner.

Teju ordered veg for herself & passed the menu card towards Karan as she thought he'll order non veg for himself.

But to her surprise, Karan ordered veg for himself too.

Teju- Sunny tune veg kyun order kiya ?? Aaj toh nahi tuesday hai aur nahi thursday

Karan- pta hai... woh shravan chal rha hai na isiliye

Teju- Are you serious😳!!! par tune toh bola tha ki "I am a Punjabi guy, mei kavi shravan nahi manta... mujhe butter chicken chaiye hoti hai"
(Teju said by imitating Karan)

Karan- hn bola tha but mera dil kiya mei v shravan manu tere sath..... Waise v mei jab bimar hota hun, tab tu v toh apne mann se mei jo khichdi ya less oily wala food khata hun, wo khati hai.... So when you can do so much for me then why cant I.... Moreover I always want & love to do everything with you Laddoo.

Teju- awwiee!!! my cutu my duggu.... love you
(She pulled him closer by holding his neck & kissed his cheeks & tickled his chin)

Few days before Ganesh Puja,

They both were in their balcony... Karan was sitting on the swing chair & Teju was sitting on his lap.

Teju has laid her head on his chest & was playing with the buttons of his night dress.... Karan could sense that something is bothering her.

Karan- Laddoo kya hua ? Kya soch rahi hai ??
