"Shh, it's over soon" Derek washed Meredith's hair as she was covered in her own vomit
"But- Der-" Meredith cried
"Shh, just ignore me." Derek soaped her in
"Maddie-" Meredith muttered as she was half asleep in Derek's arms
"Richard and Adele are taking care of her" Derek nodded as he stood in his t shirt and boxers, completely soaked from the water
Derek continued cleaning her and lifted her out, placing her down on the side of the tub. He wanted to brush her hair and noticed a bunch of hairs came out, more than usual. He sighed and dried her off. As he carried her to the bed, that got changed by Adele, he noticed she felt slightly warm. He quickly dressed her in a pair of warm sweats and kept an eye on her temperature, luckily it wasn't concerning yet so he gave her some extra meds
"I have someone who's wondering if she can see you.." Richard sadly smiles as he enters Meredith's room
"Monkey.." Meredith smiled as she saw her daughter appearing in the doorway
"Mommy! Is your tummy otay?" Maddie asked as she climbed up the bed
"Much better." Meredith nodded and would fall asleep any second
"Why don't we let mommy sleep a little? We can play with your stuffies.." Derek suggests
"Not leaving my mommy!" Maddie sternly said
"Okay.." Derek sighed and gave in
"She's kay.." Meredith muttered weakly
...
"Richard.. I don't wanna leave.." Derek sighed
"I know, Derek
. But we can watch Maddie as well." Richard insists
"This isn't just about Maddie. My heart breaks when I see Meredith like this-"
"Daddy! Daddy!" They suddenly heard Maddie scream. Derek stood up and ran upstairs to see what was going on
"Shit-" Derek gasped as he heard Meredith whimpering. "Mer, what's wrong?"
"Mama!" Maddie cried
"Shh, sweetie. I'll take you downstairs. Your daddy will take care of your mommy-" Richard tried
"No! Mama, wake up!" Maddie screams as Meredith's eyes close
"Richard, I don't like this." Derek quietly said. "Meredith, wake up."

Cristina rings the Webber's doorbell. She's holding a bag full of medical journals that she was bringing over to Meredith while she rests. Cristina stands there waiting for the door to open annoyed.
"Mer, come on! I have to be at the hospital soon!" She mutters under her breath.
Just then she hears a loud wail.
Maddie screams louder than she did before. "MAMA! WAKE UP!"
Cristina, now intensely worried, tries the door and finds it unlocked. She quickly drops her stuff down and runs up the stairs and is shocked to see her person lying unconscious on the ground.
"What the hell happened?" Cristina frowned
"She fell unconscious. She must be exhausted and dehydrated." Derek said
"I'm calling Alex, he can drop off some IV's" Cristina said and left the room
"Hmm.." Meredith stirred a little later
"Mama!" Maddie gasped and launched herself in Meredith's arms
"Monkey.." Meredith weakly muttered
Derek scooped up both Meredith and Maddie and carried them to the bed where he started to tuck her in
"Shh, does anything hurt?" Richard asked as he stroke his hand over Meredith's head
"My head.." She sighed. "So tired."
"You can sleep in a bit, Mer. I promise." Richard held her
"Maddie, are you gonna assist me?" Derek asked as he saw how scared his daughter was
"What should i do?" Maddie quietly asked
"You should give mommy a very very big hug while I make sure mommy didn't hurt herself." Derek instructed
"Mommy, you gotta be kay!" Maddie said and planted a soft kiss on her mom's cheek. "Nanas gives you a hug too." Maddie placed the stuffed monkey on Meredith's chest
"I'm okay." Meredith insisted
"Here, drink some water." Richard brought the water to her mouth
"Alex is on his way with some IV fluids." Cristina said as she entered the room again, a little awkward of how she should interact with Mer
"I'm fine guys, he doesn't need to drive here.." Meredith sighed
It didn't take long before Alex arrived and they attached her to the IV.
"Here you go." Alex sadly smiled
"I really don't need it." Meredith whined
"You do." Richard said sternly
"I have to go. Don't.. Don't die or whatever.." Cristina said and squeezed Meredith's hand
"I'm going with her. Bye Mer." He gave her a hug and followed Cristina
"Mommy gonna die?" Maddie's eyes widened after what Cristina said
"Of course not." Meredith assured her daughter but the little girl was completely upset. Derek climbed in with both of them as he wanted to comfort his daughter
"Mommy won't die. Right mommy?" Derek asked and sternly looked at Meredith
"Of course not." Meredith whispered and held tight onto her daughter
