it was the perfect day .

the temperature was around 70 and me and ddot had decided to walk around the neighborhood a little bit.

we we're walking hand in hand talking about random things just trying to make the best of our time together .

as we rounded the corner of the deli a girl popped up turning the same time we did almost running into us .

"hey darriannn long timme" she shouted ignoring my presence and lowkey shoving me aside to give ddot a hug

i looked at ddot confused wondering who the girl was thinking he hadn't either

but then he let go of my hand to hug her back

he spun with her in his hands as she laughed..

i just stood there confused and lowkey hurt

"damn where you beennn" he said smiling at her as he put her down

"I went back to texas with my moms for a lil but im back now!" She smiled messing with his hair a little

i looked at him with a what the fuck face but he was so focused on her . i just walked away letting them have their conversation .

i decided to walk to Mandy's apartment sense it was just down the street and around the corner

i knocked on the door and she opened it quickly seeing it was me

"hey girl what's up was goin on" she asked concerned while letting me in

i took a deep breath and wiped my tears telling her everything that had happened
she'd known ddot and dd a little longer than I had so she was really good at giving advice when it came to me and ddots relationship

"hol up did ole girl have a blonde skunk stripe" she asked lowkey gettin mad

i gave her a confused look and nodded my head yes
she pulled out her phone going straight to Instagram and typing in a username

"Ah hell nah ." She yelled showing me what she'd seen

it was a fresh post the girl had just made
it was a picture of her and ddot posing and the caption saying "I'm hommmmee!!💕"

Mandy took her phone back and got up FaceTiming dd . "Yo d you needa get ya fuckin boy" she yelled while leaving the room. i was so confused

i had decided to look at her page myself

after scrolling for what seemed like hours I found an only post from 10 months ago

she was giving ddot a fat kiss on his check with the caption "my all💕🤞🏾" I looked into the comments and seen ddots comment was pinned telling the whole world how much he loved and cared for her

this was his ex

i started breathing heavy.

that wasn't just a random meet it was a reconnection

I got up finding the nearest alcohol bottle I could and started downing it.
i needed to forget
to pretend like all of this wasn't happening

i called up my plug Ricky to see if he was mobile
Rickey and ddot never got along so I had to keep my distance but now I didn't care

Ricky agreed to picking me up on the corner I had walked away from I hesitantly said yes not knowing if ddot was there or not

i had left Mandy's apartment without a trace walking back to that same corner .
i saw dd standing there ona call he looked like he was yelling and arguing with the other line

"bro. IT WAS NOTHIN" he yelled

"..y-yeah I know where she's at..bro why you buggin D..fym mandy called you" I kept walking finally making it to Ricky's car

"so wsp what you need" he said looking me up and down. Ddot made me cut him off a few times bc he had a crush on me and was "trynna get in my pants"

"just 3 xans" I said looking around trying not to make eye contact

"jus 3..?" he said licking his lips

"sense you ma favorite customer ima give you 5 for $15..is that good w you mama" he asked leaning closer to my face as he reached down grabbing the pills .
Just before he could put them in my hand a loud tap came onto the window

"YO" I looked back to see ddot looking dead at me with his gun out, using it to tap on the window

i looked away trying to find the cash in my purse to pay Ricky "nah nah no charge" he whispered staring ddot straight in his eye trying to kiss me

i pushed him back telling him it was okay and that I was paying but he wouldn't give up knowing that ddot was watching .

"yo Y/N GET OUT THE V ." Ddot yelled while banging on the window

i sighed putting my money back in my purse and telling Ricky I had changed my mind. he took a deep breath tightening his grip on the steering wheel .

"you gon regret that" he said unlocking the doors

i got out the car trying to walk past ddot but he grabbed my arm pulling me to him

"The fuck was that ." he asked staring me dead in
my eye

"Nigga don't touch me . go back to ya lil smoochie that you jus can't get enough of"

I yelled snatching my arm away

"damn bro you stay doin this" he yelled in my face

"I wouldn't have too if you would jus stay faithful" I yelled back.

"it only takes one. one girl to turn a relationship upside down" I shouted 

"I fucking hate you ." i whispered

before he could respond I heard a car screech to a stop..

I snapped my head in the direction

all I saw was a gun pointed straight at me and Ricky's face behind it.

after that everything was a blur
