I've been walking for 15 minutes now
i was close to dds house
I knew he was gonna ring me out for walking alone at night but I needed him

he wasn't answering my calls or responding to me.
deep down I knew why but I just wasn't ready to face that scenario

i opened his front gate and made my way to his door
i knocked on it 3 times till I got a response

we made eye contact and there was a split moment of panic then he turned his head

i closed the door breathing heavy feeling a panic attack rise
I tried calming down as I made my way to the but ddot pulled me into him
i fell into his arms and started crying thinking of what I just saw

my breath picked up again and ddot started speaking
"Sshh mama you good. you with me"
it was comforting. different

maybe this was meant to happen
maybe I needed a heartbreak
