-ddot you sure you still wanna go out?? it's mad brick- I mumbled into my phone staring out the blinds of my window

-yesss maaaa, dey canceled school so it's the perfect opportunity- I could feel his smile through the call

-yeah iighh, that's usually a sign to stay home, you not gon be cold walkin up hea??- I asked

-my love fa you gon keep me warm- he whispered
my knees shook as I fell back onto my bed kicking my feet

-boyy you so cornyyy- i giggled
-yeah yeah yk i got it like dat- he laughed

-but aye get ya coat on ima be there in ab 10 mins-

-okay dot byeee- i took my phone off my ear when I heard a yell
-aye i love you i love you- he shouted

-i love you too- i laughed hanging up the phone

I walked over to my closest grabbing my monclare puffer jacket and my black uggs wit the bows ddot had got me for Christmas

as I zipped up my jacket I got a text to my phone
it was ddot saying he was outside

I gathered my things heading down my stairs and saying by to my mother. once I opened my front door I was immediately hit with snow and wind

before I could slam the door ddot pulled me out of the house. I tried to struggle against his grip but it was hard with my eyes shut

"ddot it's brick let me go!!" I yelled but it went muffled against my jacket

"nahhh I alr got u out the house ian lettin you back in" he laughed

I crossed my arms to my chest trying to steady my balance as he put an arm around my shoulders guiding me down the stairs

with my eyes still shut tight from the wind I hear a car door open, I quickly get in shutting the door before ddot could

I waiting for ddot to put his seat belt on when I asked him
"I thought u said u was walkin up here"

"now yk i couldn't let you freeze to death" he mumbled looking over his shoulder to merge into the street

"hmmmm." I said pulling my phone out
"what mama" he laughed
"if you lyin ab lil shit like this it makes me wonder what else you lyin bout." I could see his face go white from the corner of my eye

"nah Ian lying ab nun it was jus a lil white lie" he rushed out

"a lie is a lie n I been told u how I feel about that shit." I said still looking at my phone

we stopped at a red light and he took my left hand into his signaling me to look at him

"im sorry my heart" he said kissing my hand twice
I felt bad for making him feel bad and potentially ruining the good vibe
"nah im trollin" i laughed
"no you wasnt, n its okay you can voice yo concern ian gon be mad. Id rather know what im doin wrong instead a making you feel a certain type a way without knowing" he went on

I cracked a smile but before i could say anything a loud horn came from behind us. my head snapped up twords the light realizing it had been green this whole time. suddenly the driver door opened and i seen ddot standing there with his gun in his hand making the other car swerve and pass us.

he quickly got in adjusting himself as i just stared in disbelief

"im workin onnit my heart" he mumbles referring to his road rage

after a few minutes we pull into his driveway
"you think anybody doordashing right now?" I ask opening the app
ddot looks at me with a blank face

"so you gon wait untill we get to the crib to tell me you want sum to eat" he asks in a monotone voice
I stare back with the same blank face untill he puts the car in reverse

"no nooo im not hungry right noww" I laugh

"im thinking I can order us something to eat so it can be here in about an hour or so and if I order it now then by the time we inside and settled we could start up a movie then about half way through the food would get here then the other half of the movie we could eat then go to sleep" i rambled explaining my thought process

ddot was now smiling as he reached a hand over to touch my cheek

"my baby so smart yo" he whispered
I began to smile as he went in to kiss the side of my face

I missed you guys, did yall miss me? I hope so
