me and my girl been arguing hella lately

I always told Y/N ab it and she always told me to break it off
Tina's cheated on me twice now and I feel like she still is

I called tina and told her to come over to my house and that we needed to talk
after about 30 minutes she knocked on my door

"you better be apologizin David" she shouted as she walked into my house
I cringed at how she said my government
only Y/N does that. only Y/N

"Lemmi see ur phone." I said cutting to the chase
her face went blank and she put her phone in her pocket

"you said you trusted me" she said looking around
"jus give it to me." I said not trynna play no games
"ion wanna hurt you.." she whispered
"how many chances do I gotta give you" i yelled
"it's not my fault" she screamed

"nah. save it we done" I said grabbing my coat and heading for the door
"what you gon leave me for Y/N now huh" she yelled as I closed the door.

YOUR POV:
I was on Instagram live when I heard I pounding on my door

I stayed quite for a second trying to process the knocks when the person on the other side of the door started banging again

I heard a faint "i need you" from behind the door
I instantly realized it was dd and grabbed my phone ending the live and running over

I quickly undid my locks and swung the door open
before I could get a good look at him he wrapped his arms around me, crying into my neck

"dd what's going on what's going on" I shouted not knowing how to react
I took his face in my hands and moved his head up to get a better look at him
it looked like he'd been crying for 30 minutes

"she cheated on me again. we're done for good now"
he said crying all over again

I sighed and took his hand to my room
him and Tina always broke up and got back together
she never liked me bc I always told him not to take her back.

I brought him to my bed and layed his head in my lap
I put my hands through his hair like he liked it
and started wiping his tears

he calmed down quickly and all i could hear were sniffles here and there

after about 5 minutes I spoke
"you wanna smoke ?" I whispered leaning down towards
"I love you sm ma" he responded taking my hand off of his face and kissing it
I was stunned. I didn't know what to say

"then don't go back."
I said making him look up at me

"you don't need her. if we get together you know she's gonna try and get at us. it's either me or her I can't have competition"
I went on with a shakey breath. for a second I thought I fucked up until he said this
"it's always been you ma. always"

he sat up and put his hand on my cheek pulling me in for a long kiss

as we layed down dd pulled out his phone and put the camera behind me with his head in the crook of my neck

I seen a flash then I got a notification from Instagram telling me dd posted

it was a picture of me pulled close into his chest with the caption "right where I needa be"
