It was early in the morning and i was on my way to ddots place. We had plans around 12 but i decided to call them off after the call we had

ddot called me when he woke up this morning and by the way he sounded he was very sick
scratchy throat stuffed nose all of it

he insisted we should still go out but i just couldn't have him leaving the house like that
i told him to go back to sleep and i would be there in 30 minutes

i jogged up his house steps n gently pushed the door open, i quietly walked into his house and made my way to his room not knowing who was asleep and awake

just as I put my hand on the handle his door swung open. we both jumped back a little at the sudden contact as he looked me up and down I spoke

"I thought I told you to go back to sleep" I whispered hitting his arm and walking into his room

I tried to lay down on his bed when I got pulled back upward

"yooo wtf is you wearing"
he said with a mug on his face

I had on black Nike pros with a grey hoodie and crocs

"it's mad brick out where's ya pants" he said through gritted teeth hitting me upside my head

"keep ur hands to yourself 1. 2 it was a 5 minute walk" I reminded him sitting on the bed

"yeah igh" he responded
i watched as he walked to his dresser n grabbed some sweatpants

I noticed him making his way back to me and quickly got up "no no not those ones"

I walked over to the dresser and grabbed black and green plaid pajama pants,
sliding them over my Nike pros

"you stay on that picky shit" ddot said kissing his teeth

before I could respond ddot turned around and let out a cough, reminding me why I was here

"cmon go back to bed D" I whispered leading him back to where he should've been this whole time

"ma I'm good really" he said sitting on the bed

"don't even, it sounds like you had a new port smoothie" I said sitting next to him
"yo chill. you lucky I'm too sick to put you in ya place" he said looking me up and down

I just laughed and pulled my phone out my pocket
I felt him pull on my hoodie signaling me to move closer to him

once I got closer I got a better look at his face
his nose was light red and his eyes were a little watery

"why u starin at me ma" ddot whispered
"your staring back arnt you??" I responded

ddot began to lean in and I quickly stopped him by putting my palm against his lips
he groaned and moved my hand

"cmon mami uno beso" he said
"noo d ur sick cmon lay down" I laughed

"A kiss will make me feel better frl" he whispered pulling the covers over himself

"d stop whining n get sum sleep" I said pointing my finger at him

I walked over to his tv and turned it on grabbing the remote

"come sleep w me ma" ddot said making space
"alright holdd onnn" I said slowly walking towards the bed while keeping my eyes on the tv

I clicked Disney plus as I sat on the bed

as I began to lay down I swiped through movies and put on Sleeping Beauty

"mm nah I ain't trynna watch this" ddot groaned
"well good thing you'll be sleepin then" I said turning around to face him with a smile

he looked at me for a minute then spoke
"jus one kiss" he whispered looking at my lips

"noo ddot cmon go to sleep"
I said feeling his head with my palm

when all of a sudden a quick kiss hit my lips
"k goodnight" ddot said quickly turning to face the wall

"if I get sick Nigga ur ass is grass" I said wiping off my lips with the back of my hand and turning back around to face the tv 

i heard a loud chuckle from him and felt him turn around wrapping his arms around me

after about 30 minutes I knew he was sleeping and felt my own eyes become heavy

right as they shut they shot back open at a sudden scratch in my throat and I let out a loud cough
"..fuck" I whispered
