"mamii" i groaned liftin my head up n lookin up at
y/n from layin on her chest

"yes ddot" she chuckled flashing that pretty smile

"whatchu got to eat in hea" I sighed rubbin my thumb across her lip

"I Can run to the deli for you pa" she smiled movin some hair out my face
"you get mad picky when ur high" she added
I put my head back down feelin myself gettin tired

"you'd really go to the store fa me?" I asked ina sort of mumble

"yes baby jus lmk what you want" she whispered sittin up n slightly pushin me off to get her shoes

"jus a fat bag a chips n sum twirlers oh n that candy yu be gettin I'm trynna share that" I yawned

"here take this 20 ma" I whispered pullin a bill out my back pocket
by that time she had already had her shoes on

"okay pa, ima be right back" she whispered leaning down to kiss my forehead
I quickly grabbed the back of her neck n pulled her into a proper kiss and held her there for a good minute makin her laugh into it

"okay okayyy, I'll be back" she said walking towards the door
"love you d" she shouted but I was too tired to respond

Y/N POV
I had just made it out of my apartment building and started heading to the deli
it was a 5 minute walk too and back but that wasn't anything to me frl

I pulled out my phone glued to my Instagram reels when I got this feeling. my head snapped up from my phone as I felt a tingle run down my spine

I heard a car begin to speed up as my whole body went cold I started to run when shots began to go off
when suddenly my body went stiff and it became hard to breath I clutched my body with my hands and fell to the floor as my lungs refused the air to leave my throat

I crawled to the nearest part of the side walk that resembled a wall and leaned my back against it as blood began to spill out of the side of my mouth and tears hit my eyes

I don't know how or when but suddenly 3 dudes in ski masks toward over me

"yo shordy you good" one of them yelled as the other one got on the phone
"yo turn her on her side turn her on her side" the boy said tapping the 3rd one's shoulder

Once I got flipped I finally let out a loud cough allowing me to breath

"please I don't wanna die" my voice shook
"you gon be good Alr you gon be good" one of them whispered taking off his hoodie and walking towards me I noticed my phone started to ring. it was ddot my ddot i didn't want him seeing me like this but at the same time all I needed was him

the boy that had flipped me onto my side picked up my phone and answered it
just as I let out an agonizing scream . the boy with the hoodie had began applying pressure to my wound and that's when I had finally looked down.

my shirt was drenched with blood and the sight of it made me wanna faint if I wasn't going too alr
I heard sirens from down the street as my head slowly became heavy. just as my eyes began to close I heard ddot yelling from a distance. the paramedics came running towards me with a stretcher. I cried in pain as they lifted me from the ground and onto the ambulance and by that time the police had came as well.

just as the ambulance doors began to close I seen ddot arguing with a cop about getting on the ambulance with me, but the cop blocked the entrance saying that "everyone was a suspect"

i felt tears roll down my eyes as me and ddot made eye contact and it looked as if he had seen a ghost

just then I felt my eyes roll back and my body started to violently shake then the ambulance door was slammed shut to in an attempt for ddot not to see anything else as traumatic as his gf lying in a pool of her own blood but it was too late and it was all for nothing as he already seen me begin to seize

I heard what sounded like a cry of my name before everything went black.
