it was getting mad late.

dd had jus gotten done filming a video for his new song and he was getting interviewed left n right
he promised we'd be back home by 11 but here we were. still in this house

Dd was out on the porch in the middle of an interview while I was inside waiting on him to finish

it was me and hella niggas with a few girls here and  there, so the ratio was off hella

i pulled my phone out and texted d

I assumed I wasn't gonna get a text back for a while so I set my phone down and watched dds replaying music video on the TV

I got a notification from my phone and right when I picked it up tg sat next to me with edot

tg was one of dds "homeboys"
he got on my nerves hella n dd knew that
so he made sure we had some distance

"so dd decided to bring YOU this time" he asked me trying to see my reaction
"yo don start that he got hoes bullshit" edot said kissing his teeth

"I'm jus sayin like you really think yo spot secure"
tg laughed

"smd" I replied over everything he was trynna claim

"ima tell dd you talkin to his lady reckless. yk how he get when you irritate her" edot warned

"I'm jus doin ole girl a fava an lettin her know-" he started but I didn't stay to hear the rest

"bro. FUCK" I yelled I gathered all my shit in my purse and walked to the door swinging it open not realizing dd was sitting on the steps with the interviewer
I didn't say anything and tried walking down the steps without stepping on anyone or anything

"mami whas goin on" dd asked with his hand sliding up and down my calf making me look down
"cmon hot head take a breath" he chuckled pulling me Into to his lap
"an who's this?" The interviewer asked with the camera pointed on me

"this? this ma babymom wyyymmm" he said putting his face in my neck
I could tell he was high but I didn't care
bein in his arms really calmed me

"why you leavin" he whispered in my ear
"ya homeboy finna make me boom myself"
"who." he asked mad loud catching evb attention
"nobody dw ab it..really" I said kissing his cheek
"so how long y'all been together" the camera man asked

"shiii for a while she jus ain't know it" dd said lookin at me makin me laugh
he pulled me in for a kiss when Edot opened the door catchin our attention

"oh you still here ? Tg in there swearin you cryin somewhere. I was jus comin out here to get d n tell him to set that nigga straight" he went on relighting his blunt

dd looked at me n asked
"is tg givin you a hard time"
"dd it's nothing really he jus be makin jokes n shit"
I replied making sure he knew I didn't want him to do anything
he looked at the camera
"can y'all give me a second I'll be right back"

"d no. dd stop" I shouted as he went into the house
dd told tg that the next time he tried me he was gonna beat his ass. and when dd said sum he really meant it

I followed behind him as he made his way to tg
tg was still sitting on the couch I left not aware of what was ab to happen

"yo whas this shit I keep hearin ab you puttin false info into my girl head" dd said looking down at tg

"mann it ain't nun but jokes" tg said right when dd took him by his shirt and hit him with a closed fit

tg tried hitting back but dd slammed him on the floor

"cmon shordy dd wouldn't want u seein this" edot said pushing me tword a corner

from what I could hear it was a messy fight
after about 5 minutes it was broken up

"cmon ma Lemmi take you home" I heard
I turned around n seen dd still upset and tired

I looked down at his knuckles and back at him
I didn't say anything and walked twords the door
I got a look at tg and he was bloody and holding his jaw .

me and dd walked out the door and onto the side walk
he reached for my hand but I pulled it away
"cmon mama don't be like that" he said trying to get a better look at me
"look at me." He whispered bringing my face up
"I had to do what I had to do. n i hope you'd do the same for me shit" he chucked
"boy you know i would..but I hate seein you like that" I replied
"I know ma I know."

we got back to his house and I went to the kitchen to grab him some ice

I wrapped it in plastic and walked over to him
I gave it to him and sat on the other side while he gave me a weird look

"yo why you sittin all the way over there" he asked making me laugh

"cmon you know the routinnne" he went on
I got up n walked over to him sitting on his lap
I took the ice out his hand and put it over his Knuckles

"I love the way you take care of me" he whispered putting his face in my neck
"who else would?" I laughed
he looked into my eyes and gave me a kiss
he really dosent know how much I care for him
