i was in my bed  studying for my algebra test when I got a text message from DD

-MESSAGE-
"let me come over."

usually dd called me so I found it kinda weird that he was just texting me out of the blue especially after goin ghost for a couple of hours

"uh yeah come over wsp?" I asked. before I could get a response I heard a knock at my door

that couldn't of been him, I just sent the text like 2 seconds ago

i slowly got up and walked towards my front door
i looked through the peep hole and saw dd with his hands in his pockets and his head down

i opened the door and he immediately gave me a hug

I could hear him sniffing as if he was or had been crying.

i quickly pulled away to get a better look at him but he didn't wanna make eye contact

i took his face into my hands and saw his puffy red eyes had finally looked back at me

i didnt ask any specific questions I just took his hand and lead him back to my room

i cleared all of my papers for him to sit but instead he layed down. i decided to join him

our faces were close and I started playing with his hair knowing it was the main way to calm him down

"how did you get here so fast" I whispered
"I was already here. i Jus needed you" he replied pulling me back into a hug

i let him take all the time he needed while we sat in silence just enjoying each other's presence
