"lisa.where's the Uber" I yelled as I watched her stressfully refresh her app over and over

we hadn't left the bathroom sense we got in and have been trying to find an Uber or lift ever sense, there was no doubt a long line of people outside the door but that was the least of our problems

"I don't have any wifi in here I think the ride got canceled" she replied
"WAIT. OKAY HES 3 MINUTES AWAY" she smiled looking up at me from the toilet she sat on

her smile quickly faded after she realized I wasn't in the mood she was
"you finna be lucky if you don't get a mean upper cut by the time this night over" I sighed .

"my fault" she replied standing up and fixing her skirt
"I told the driver to park down the street so we should start walking now" she said

a nodded my head and opened the bathroom door
surprisingly there was no line

actually, no one was in the house

it seemed it had cleared out and only a few people remained
I looked at Lisa and we both had the same confused face

we made our way out to the front door and walked onto the porch
everyone had gone outside for some reason and was crowding a car, music was blasted through the cars windows basically moving the party outside

I seen the passenger door open and a boy step out
head full of curls and a black Nike tech

dd was a few feet away and I was still in the bronxs.
I stood there frozen not knowing what to do when all of a sudden his eyes locked with mine

his aggressive eye contact slowly looking me up and down . I took two steps back then booked it back into the house

I didn't care to look back if Lisa was following me
I just needed to get my ass outta there
I ran back into the same bathroom and seen a window right above the toilet

I heard a loud horn and a car speeding off outside
witch signaled me to pick up the pace
I stepped on the toilet and threw the window open
I felt my heels begin to slip when Lisa grabbed onto my leg
"I'll boost you out go" she yelled

I took my heel off then stepped into her palm
the cold air hit me hard as a felt a shudder run down my spine

I helped Lisa down onto the ground and looked around the alley as I put my heel back on

"cmon..the Uber should be on the left" Lisa said still trying to catch her breath

before I could respond I heard a yell that sounded mad close
"YO IM NOT PLAYIN NO MORE"
dd was close and irritated

one thing about me is that no matter what shoes I got on. ima hit the dash

me and Lisa started running down the alley as fast as we could leaving loud heel clicks behind us

"what colors the car" I yelled as we turned the corner
"Black Toyota" Lisa responded

I grabbed onto Lisa's had and ran to the car
I swung open the side door as Lisa dove into the back

"hi....Uber for Lisa" Lisa said trying to catch her breath

I felt a rush of relief when the car started to pull off
A smile spread across my face realizing I had gotten outta that mess

I was omw home everything was working out until we stopped at the red light

I hadn't realize a car had been following us sense the party and had to find out when they cut in-front of us at the light and parked

it was an all black hell cat and I prayed it wasn't who I thought it was, I prayed it was jus a coincidence

I seen dd hop out the car and slam the door shut behind him

I quickly reclined my seat and covered my face

"please tell me ur windows got tints" I whispered to the Uber driver
before he could answer I heard 3 knocks at the window

I turned my body slightly and looked at the window to see dd staring right back at me

I sighed knowing if I didn't open the door dd was going too
I pressed the unlock button and tried opening the door when dd swung it open doing it for me
I unbuckled my seat belt and stepped out the car when lisa rolled down the car window

"hey when ur done with figuring out ur lil situation come to my house" she said before I could respond dd did
"nah she done for the night."

he gently grabbed my arm and took me to the hellcat opening the back door for me to go in and for him to follow

I sat as far away as possible and took my phone out finding anything to distract me from dd
"ma ." he said
i didn't respond or look up

all of a sudden my phone got ripped out my hands
"you not finna lie to me again" he said
"I didnt even lie" I started just to get cut off by dd telling me to unlock my phone

I unlocked it without hesitation knowing I had nothing to hide

he went to our messages and turned my location back on

"turn this off again ma . you know ima find you either way" he whispered pulling me closer to him

"you look good" he went on leaning in and kissing me a few times

"I hope u had fun tonight ma cuz you ain't leavin the house nooo time soon" he said kissing me again before I could process what he said

"I love u mami alr..Jus know dat" he whispered
"I know I know" i responded taking his hand in mine
