"uhm no you can't I won't be home" I sighed grabbing my shoes
"where the fuck you goin" dd said already knowing the answer

"I never said I wasn't going to" I reminded him
"you keep playin w me yo" he sighed

I heard a knock on my door knowing it was Erick n tried saying my goodbyes to dd
"ma. ima pull up ina few minutes n if you ain't there we finna have some problems"
"bye dd." and with that I hung up

I put my phone in my back pocket and opened the door

"wssp barbie" Erick said giving me a side hug
"what I tell you ab that shit" I kissed my teeth
"Cmon baby you know you like it" he said eyeing me up and down
"boy what?" I said mugging him with a smile
maybe dd was right about one thing

"we finna go orrrrr" I said catching his attention
"nah let's stay here" Erick said pushing past me n into my living room

"no no we cannot stay here cmon" I said grabbing his arm and trying to get to the door
"why who you expecting??" Erick asked looking me up and down
"nobody lets jus go to the park" I said walking out the door as he followed

once we got to the sidewalk Erick started a conversation

"you good you mad quite"
"do I look good ." I kissed my teeth

"yo ima take ya ass home stop ts" he said
"okay okay I'm jus over ts frl" i sighed

"I get that . he don't deserve you" he said looking me dead in my eye

before I could respond my phone rang
I looked at Erick then back at my phone
"gimmi a second"

I walked away a lil bit to answer the call knowing It was dd

before I could speak he yelled into the phone

"yo wrd2 that better not be you"
"what are you talking about" i whispered looking around quickly
"igh bro" he said hanging up right after
I quickly made my way back to Erick and took him by his hand

we wernt too far from my apartment building so maybe we could make it back in time before anything happened..right

"yoo where we goin" Erick said confused at the sudden change in situation

"back home cmon" I rushed out trynna pick up the pace

I quickly took my phone out and called my homegirl Lisa, she lived down the hallway so I knew she'd be able to help me out

"ima need you to go wait by my door rn" I said swinging open the apartment building door

"Alr alr why whats going on" she said sounding like she was ina rush

"dds finna pull up to my crib n hes finna flip if he see Erick in here" I kissed my teeth making Erick laugh

As I made my way up the stairs I seen Lisa at my door and hung up

As I unlocked my door I heard a car screech outside and i knew he was here

I swung my door open pushing Erick and Lisa in

"alright any second now dd finna be here n y'all gotta act like a married couple" i rushed out stressing over the situation

before either of them could respond I heard 3 loud knocks on my door

I looked at the peep hole n seen dd standing there mad asfk. he had a black wife beater on and grey Nike shorts with black forces

"..who is it" I said already knowing the answer
"open the door ." I heard a calm yet threatening tone
I opened the door a crack trying to step out when I felt the door pushed against me

"I did not say you can come in" I shouted
he kissed his teeth and pulled me into him
I tried getting out of the hug but his grip tightened
I knew he was staring at Erick

"see. I wasnt doing anything I was home. you can go now" I said trying to get him out of my apartment
"what was u doin with that nigga" dd whispered in my ear
"Nothing d. see he's on the couch with Lisa" I pointed

he looked at them then leaned in for a kiss I denied
"were not together anymore d" I said looking away
"fuck Is to you . you ma girl 4L ain't no backing out"
he said looking me in my eye

"shoulda thought about that before" I started just to get cut off by being dragged into my room
he slammed the door behind him right as Erick started to walk up

"why you playin w me" dd said as I sat on the bed
I stayed silent and went on my phone trying to avoid the conversation
"I pull up n you got that Nigga in here? Huh answer me" he shouted
"we arnt together so you shouldn't care." I said
"yo say that shit again" he said walking up to me

I looked up at him and rolled my eyes
"if you wanna be up on other bitches I ain't gon stop you no more. do you n I'll do me" I replied

after about a minute of silence he said alright and walked out my room

not even two seconds later I heard yelling and what sounded like a crash

I ran out and seen dd had Erick up against the wall

"dd stop" I yelled trying to separate them
Dd threw him on the floor and started throwing punches as me and Lisa tried pulling him off

Erick got to his feet and got ready to swing when I stood infront of dd

"Erick just go" I shouted

he looked at me with a confused yet hurt face then kissed his teeth walking towards the door and slamming it behind him

Lisa followed soon after and I turned to dd and pushed him

"what the fuck is wrong with you. what I can't have friends now?" I yelled

"nah you can't . when u gon realize I ain't going nowhere ma" he said pulling me in for a hug
this time I didn't protest and I let it happen

"we locked in" he said kissing my lips
"Hm? we locked in right" he asked knowing my response

I sighed and looked up at him

"forever."
he cracked a smile and kissed my lips again
