18. Manik's birthday in childhood

Nandini : You look too cute mannu

Manik was looking at her angrily, and in one long step he reached her and before she could understand what happen, he applied cake all over her face, making her look exactly like him. While Nandini was in too shocked state to react anything.

Then he quickly wiped his hands and took the phone and started clicking her pictures. Then he started laughing at her. Seeing this Nandini silently went sat on the bed present in that room.

Manik went and took her in side hug, then he asked her

Manik : Kya hua Jaan ? Till now you are happy, then suddenly What happened to you?

Nandini (with sad eyes) : Why can't we stay like this forever mannu?

Manik kissed her forehead and made her sit on his lap comfortably, while she snuggled more into him. Then he said

Manik : Just wait till this music deal done Jaan, then after that nobody can separate us. And we will stay with each other happily.

Nandini immediately looked at him, her eyes contains happiness, excitement, fear to face her past again. While seeing her emotions, manik kissed her temple, then he said

Manik : He won't do anything princess, please believe me I won't let them hurt you again. And please be brave nannu, mere liye

Nandini : I will try my best mannu, you know right whenever I see him, all those memories will trigger and make me weak.

Manik : I know Jaan, so only I have arranged meeting with him in MN music label.

Nandini (with hopeful eyes) : You will be with me right?

Manik (with assuring smile) : Always baby

Nandini scrunched her nose by listening "baby" word whereas manik was smiling at her cute antics.

Manik (hugging her tightly) : Mera adorable bacchi

Nandini grinned and hugged him tightly. She loves whenever he calls her bacchi, whereas manik thought to change her mood, so he said

Manik : Nannu, did you remember my birthday celebrations you planned along with maa

Nandini looked at him smilingly, with this both went to their memory lane.

Flashback starts

Well this is day before the day of manik's birthday and here our cute bubbly girl nandini is thinking how to call manik to her home

Nandini (self talking) : What if I say I am not feeling well? No, if so he won't leave me alone and I can't decorate the room, what should I do now ? (Again she starts thinking) (frustratedly)Aah... (Suddenly she got an idea , so she excitedly said) Yes I got an idea.
