And I know that day will come.
When your eyes meet hers filled with emotions.
And her smile matches yours.
Your words become ones with much meaning,
Like it was to me when it was our time.
And now hers, with the same returned.
Both of your heartbeats match in que.
Creating a beautiful piece of melody and rhythm,
One which ours couldn't create, yet it I loved it anyways.
As mine become empty again,
And as it trembles with pain and hurt.
But I'll be happy, because I know that you are.
She's better than me in many ways,
Ones in which I cannot describe and now I know,
I know why you chose her, because I'd never pick me.
Not in a million years,
Not now, not ever.
And I understand why.
