Time: 5:50 AM

Detected voices: Hancock, John. Gibson, Callie.

John: There you are; where'd you disappear to yesterday?

Callie: Sorry had a few things to check up on and lots of people to contact for the meeting.

John: Aww, so nothing exciting?

Callie: Nothing I'd want to talk about right now, no

John: OH? Do tell

Callie: Aha, not on your life

John: Come on, don't twist my arm and make me beg. If it's something important I want to know, so I don't have to worry

Callie: You... worry? Going soft on me, Mayor? Look, it's not a big deal, and I'll talk about it when ready.

John: do we have to play 20 questions again? No? Fine, you win; I won't push this time. But can I join you in the meeting?

Callie: I don't see why not; come on, we'll be late if you keep talking my ear off

Preston: Any idea why that... that warship is here?

7:01 AM audio detected "overlapping no"

Preston: Okay... well, it must be here for that little group at the police station, yea? Has anyone been over and interacted with them at all?

Callie: I did a few times, ran into them once, and helped save them from some ghouls shortly after dethawing. After that, the guy in charge of the little group asked me for further help, which I brushed off for a while. When I finally got around to it, John was with me, almost shot him on site, so we didn't bother helping. He still offered me a job though but said I would have to "drop that creature following you around" when we were finished. I told him thanks but no thanks, and he could shove a fuck where the sun don't shine

 Piper: Creature?

John: Me, ghouls, duh

Piper: Ah... well why not tell him you're sorry and you thought about it and want to join now.

John: Are you high? Shit, am I high?... no... What?

Callie: You're not high, John, but Piper must be. That's a stupid idea.

Piper: I'm not high, think about it. Why would they bring a warship for one tiny group? What if they are hunting something bigger?

Preston: They wouldn't bring a warship for one tiny group babe; you bring that toy out if you're hunting something big. And the Bos only hunts tec and non-humans... oh shit... tec... the Institute

Piper: Bingo, what if they are here to pursue the Institute? If they are here to do that, they could also help us rebuild the commonwealth!

Preston: Their goal has never been about rebuilding, and we don't need them, right General? We have the Minutemen.

Callie: Preston, there are about 30,000 people in the commonwealth... and our minutemen are only 300 bodies strong

Piper: 300 bodies, with no real training and shit gear... Sorry Callie, but the BOS is powerful enough to not only find but destroy the Institute alone; joining them and getting them on our side would mean the minutemen would finally be a force to be reckoned with
