Thursday. It's Grgeggy's day tomorrow but here he is, annoying me, without him knowing.

He's been on his phone kanina pa, and he barely talks to me and it's pissing me off.

What's keeping him busy?

I looked at my phone when I felt it vibrated. It's Tita Emma. I know she's going to ask about her son's birthday tomorrow.

"Greggy lumabas ka nga muna"

Alam kong naramdaman niya ang inis sa boses ko kaya lumamlam ang mukha niya.

"Why, love? What happened?" he worriedly asked and went to me. I hid my phone under the sheets so he wouldn't see it.

"Go back to your condo or something. Basta umalis ka muna" I told him.

"Love naman... What did I do?" may bahid ng pag-aalala sa boses niya.

Ngayon gaganyan ka, kanina lang hindi mo ako pinapansin.

"Get out."

When he saw how serious I am, he sighed and went outside. I heard him locking the front door so I fish my phone out. I saw that I missed Tita's call.

I stood up and went towards the glass window of my room and I saw Greggy walking to his car. Before going in, he saw me through the window so I immediately closed the curtains.

Masunurin ka rin naman pala.

"Hello Tita?" I said when I called his mom.

"Irene, I just called to ask what are you going to do tomorrow" I was right. "Where's Greggy nga pala?"

"He just left Tita. Pina-alis ko kanina" We both chuckled. "Anyways, I'm planning to surprise him in his office tomorrow Tita"

"Ayaw niya talaga mag-party? Sayang naman" she said. "How 'bout a dinner? Luisito wants to make bawi to him, on what happened. Tell him we're going to have dinner tomorrow hija, alam kong mapapa-oo mo siya" she giggled.

"I'll tell him later Tita" I answered.

"Thank you so much my dear. Tell your family also to come. I have to go now, bye" then the line ended.

Hours passed and Greggy came back. I was sitting on the couch and watching TV in the sala when he came in.

"L-love," mahinang tawag niya pero hindi ko pinansin. "I bought your favorite foods. K-kain tayo"

I just threw a glance at him before turning my sight back to the television.

"Ihahanda ko na" aniya at pumunta na sa kusina.

Ilang minuto na ang nakakalipas pero hindi pa rin siya bumabalik. Gaano ba katagal ang paghanda niya sa binili niya?

So I stood up and went to the kitchen. I found him sitting on the island counter and was thinking so deeply. He can't see me so I hid myself and listened to him.

"May nagawa ba kong mali? Or hindi niya nagustuhan?" he whispered but I clearly heard it. "Think, Greggy, think" he told himself.

He even closed his eyes and held his head. I bit my lips to stop myself from smiling.

"Did I forget to tell her my 'I love yous'? No, I didn't forget. Sinabi ko kaninang paggising niya at bago ako pumasok sa opisina. I even texted and updated her with my day. May namissed ba akong tawag niya or hindi na-reply'an na message?" napahilamos siya ng mukha niya. "God, why the hell is she pissed?"
