"IT WAS TOO EASY"
Hogwarts Castle, Scotland | 1993"WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAND?" Hermione questioned Lizzie, as the two of them, Ron and Harry waited inside the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom with the rest of the third years, Professor Lupin still having not turned up yet.
Lizzie scowled, looking down the line of desks with a glare as Draco was once again getting swooned over by Pansy Parkinson. “Malfoy happened.”
“He did that to your hand?” Ron asked, appalled. “Alright, where is h–”
“No, no. He didn’t do it,” Lizzie sighed as she and Harry pushed Ron back into his seat, not letting him go and try to kill Draco. “In Potions, Snape forced me into helping him because ‘Draco is fragile’.” The girl rolled her eyes, Hermione holding her injured hand in her own, thumb stroking over the blisters and cuts. It took all of Lizzie’s might not to smile. “He’s not even hurt. That absolute idiot.”
“Have you not realised that already?” Harry said laughably, leaning back against his chair. He had taken a seat next to Ron while Hermione and Lizzie had sat together across the aisle.
“‘Course I have,” Lizzie replied, and then remembered something else. “Oh, and Hermione, I think you were right. You know, when you said that we hadn’t heard the end of Draco’s dad being furious.”
