"BROADEN YOUR MINDS. YOU MUST LOOK beyond,” Professor Trelawney told them in her usual droning tone, Lizzie looking so deep into her crystal ball her eyes were going fuzzy. She could hear Ron’s light snores behind her and could only guess that Harry was drooling next to him. Hermione was nowhere to be seen, but Lizzie guessed she’d been here in a few seconds, appearing out of nowhere and acting like she’d been there the whole time. It had been quite interesting to see Hermione lie through her teeth now that she knew about the Time Turner, but it was all interesting to see Hermione not know that she knew about it. “The art of crystal gazing is in the clearing of the Inner Eye. Only then can you see. Try again.”

Lizzie couldn’t blame the boys for falling asleep every time they were in the Divination classroom, because there was something about the place that made it extremely comfortable to just shut your eyes for a minute. Maybe it was the weird, stuffy perfume floating everywhere, or maybe it was the comfortable, perfect-height tables that you could rest your head on. Either way, Lizzie felt the same kind of exhaustion, but it didn’t mean it wasn’t hilarious every time they were scared out of their wits by Professor Trelawney turning up at their table.

“Now, what do we have here?” the woman asked, scaring Harry up from the table, who consequently knocked into Ron, the boy spluttering for a minute before remembering where he was. Lizzie covered her mouth to hide her smile, leaning it into her palm to watch over her shoulder.
